ivypool had entered the fighting contest. a few years back she had trained with a revenge-thirsty group of bad-guys. they had trained her fiercly so she was skilled in fighting. blossomfall also trained with them so she entered too. she hoped she wouldn't have to fight her bestie. dovewing's boyfreind,tigerheart,which i did not approve because he was from the shadowclan race. not that i'm racist but we usally stick to thunderclan. antpelt had died while training with the thugs. lionblaze,bramblestar,and bluestar were the judges. more people had also entered the contest.
ivypool also entered the tree-climbing contest. she heard that heathertail who was really good at tree-climbing and that she had won many tree-climbing contests. but ivypool stayed confident. she went back to her dorm and started studying for math. when she was done she quickly realized that she would be late for her date! it was already 5:30! she quickly showered,stealing her dormate,cinderheart's shampoo which smelled really good. she got dressed into her silver dress. and cinderheart helped her make her hair look really pretty.
while cinderheart was fumbling with her hair she commented "you used my shampoo didn't you?" she laughed. ivypools cheeks reddened. "sorry" she mumbled "it's okay!" i'm still trying to get heathertail away from lionblaze!" she joked.

FERNSONG P.O.V.
ivypool was late! it was 6:05! he was starting to worry that she had ditched him. finally she walked down the stairs with a magnifecent dress of silver. her blue eyes shown with nervousness. i took her hand and said "come on." the walked and finally reached dustfern's restraunt. spiderleg a kid in high school who worked for his parents seated us. we decided to share a spaghetti and meatballs. when it came we were talking about how strict mr. rowanstar could be. we qiueted and started eating. fernsong started slurping his pasta and making funny faces at ivypool. ivypool laughed. fernsong loved hearing her bubbly laughter. they both started slurping and suddenly they found themselves slurping on the same string. there faces were an inch away from each others. fernsongs face heated and he saw ivypool blushing. slowly he leaned in closer until they finally kissed. they stood there for a minute before pulling away. both fernsong and ivypool wore big grins on their faces.
? P.O.V.
i looked through the window of the restraunt. i was jealous. i should have been the one there,smiling and grinning from ear to ear. not that peice of fox-dung! i turned away walking to my fathers apartment. inside he was watching tv with his girlfreind. "hey dad can you lend me some advice?" i asked he turned his head from the tv where he was watching murder mystery. he walked away and we talked. i smiled and started taking notes.
