LIONBLAZE'S P.O.V.
"so what should we name the kids?" i asked
" how about snapkit?" cinderheart asked
"and flykit!" i agreed with her
"spotkit!!!" cinderheart shouted, overexcited
I hugged her
"perfect!" i told her
she snuggled in my arms, her breathing slowed until she was sleeping. Once again i carried her to our bed and tucked her up. I went back to the playroom to see Applepaw playing with Fernkit and Hollykit while Woodpaw was playing with Sorrelkit dollies. I smiled. Applepaw and Woodpaw just might fit in here. I turned towards the kitchen to make lunch when Applepaw called.
"you do know tommorow is their first day of kindergarden?" she asked me
I froze,slowly turning around.
"what?" I asked slowly
"today's the last day of summer." Applepaw told me
my face scrunched up in horror
"No! No! not with heathertail out there!" I wailed,snatching hollykit from the ground where she was doing a puzzle
the girls winced when i said heathertail but right now i didn't care
"papa i'm hungry" hollykit whined
I nodded absently
she reached up and yanked my hair. I snapped back to the real world. I gently took her fingers out of my hair and went to the kitchen. Soon i had whipped up some mashed potato's.
"who want's mashed potato's?" i called. the kids filed in. Once they were eating quietly i went to my room and flopped down on the bed, i stared at cinderheart, who was still sleeping.
then a shriek came from the kitchen. Cinderheart was up in a second and i had already zoomed to the kitchen. Applepaw was the one who had screamed. she pointed at Fernkit, who was on the ground writhing.
I was over there in a split second. Fernkit was making rasping sounds. he can't breath, i realized. my head was getting dizzy. cinderheart had collapsed on the ground along with Woodpaw,Hollykit,and Sorrelkit. I distantly heard Applepaw scream that he was going to die and then i saw heathertail. grinning.
"bye-bye sweet" she said,right before i blacked out
sorry i haven't updated. but finally this chapter is out and yeah!
