LIONBLAZE'S P.O.V.
i woke up to small warm hands stroking me. i realized cinderheart had propped herself up and was comfortingly stroking me.
"please don't leave." i begged
cinderheart had a confused and worried look in her eyes.
"you said i was a failure of a dad." i told her
"i would never ever say that lionblaze." she said
"but i dropped fernkit." i pointed out
"no you didn't" she pointed towards fernkit's crib where he was sleeping quietly
"it was a dream?" i asked
she nodded, hugging me.
"promise you'lle never leave me." i whispered
"promise." she whispered back
and then fernkit woke up.
"go" cinderheart urged
"oh no no no no" i resisted
"oh yes yes yes yes." she said pushing me towards him
i recuantly picked him up and craddled him. he looked into my eyes,i stared into his blue ones. he soon fell asleep and i put him back.
"i did it!" i told cinderheart
"of course you did." she said and we fell asleep
