within ten minutes cinderheart was back,tears rolling down her cheeks. but not tears of sadness, tears of laughter.
"what?" i demanded
"april........fools." she wheezed out
i stared at her,my esxpression changing from confusion,to happiness, to a micture of affection and annoyance
"you scared me." i scolded her
"and you haven't done that?" she asked, standing up and dusting herself
i pulled her closer "you've done it more." i whispered
"sure" she whispered back
then the door rang. i opened it and there stood berrynose with two girls
"hi dad" one said shyly
