BERRYNOSE'S P.O.V.
"I............i.............. i think i like......" i trailed off when rainbow,or what was that kid's name? i forgot but she starts talking
"berrynose,look. i know you probally don't remember me, but maybe this will remind you" the girl said
i cocked my head as she dug through her purse and came out with a folded piece of paper. she opened it and i gasped
"wait? no! that can't be!" i stammered
she nodded
"rainy?" i whispered
"yes berrynose." she answered
now i remember. before we moved from canada i had a best friend named rainy. she was weird and smart but also really kind. my eyes widened even more. i ran up to her and hugged her.
"i can't believe it's you." i whispered in her ear
poppyfrost and honeyfern were fuming.
"look,i like you as a friend,but there are some girls that love you." she whispered in my ear
i hesitated but nodded.
"poppyfrost,honeyfern. rainy was just a childhood friend. i love one of you. and that one is poppyfrost. i really am sorry honeyfern,but i.........i......... just it won't work out.
tears were streaming down honeyfern's face. honeyfern raced out of the gym. i nodded to rainy and poppyfrost and ran after her.
i found her outside crying on a bench.
"honeyfe......." i cut myself off as she ran. i reached for her and she tripped. i tried to drag her towards me but she crawled under a bush. i waited for about 10 seconds trying to figure out what i should do when a horrible shriek came from the bush.
i ducked under to see honeyfern clutching her leg,tears streaming faster,screaming from something. then i saw it,a two piercing red eyes at the foot of honeyfern's foot, a rattlesnake. instead of rattling is snaked off. i dragged the now unconcious honeyfern out of the bush and carried her princess style,i didn't care what poppyfrost would think. a innocent human was in trouble.
i carried her up the steps hollering "SOMEBODY CALL 911! SOMEBODY CALL 911"
