Coffee and pale rose, those were the two colors that meshed together yet stayed apart; Donghyuck and Renjun, Slytherin and Ravenclaw. The two were always in conflict about something. They were paired together for a teaching lesson in Professor Moon's class, they were teaching third years about Boggarts.

While Professor Moon was still not in the classroom - the poor man had a terribly habit of being late - Renjun and Donghyuck were seated at the front of the class. Donghyuck was sitting atop the desk, feet idly swinging as he hummed a soft tune to himself. The brunette seemed comfortable and relaxed his expression neutral.

Soft exhales left Renjun, his robe was over the back of the chair he sat in. His sleeves were rolled up considering how warm the room had gotten from the bright sun filtering in through the barred glass windows. Dust floated to and fro, the bustling students whirling up the calm environment. A few male and female students alike approached the prefects, they all batted their eyelashes and blushed while attempting to flirt with the uninterested males.

Donghyuck scoffed leaning back on his palms, head tipped back basking in the sunlight like the serpent he is. The pale rose haired male chuckled to himself, Donghyuck was really embracing the reptile like characteristics. "How's the sunbathing, serpent?" Renjun was attempting to make small talk with his rival.

Eyes cracking open, sun-kissed skin glowing beneath the warm rays Donghyuck peered at him. Honeyed laughter slipped past his plump lips, sly grin pulling at the corner of his mouth. "Are you taking a liking to me Huang?"

The brunette shifted onto his right side, body twisting to fully look at Renjun. Green and silver tie freely swinging, his crisp white shirt was ruffled and wrinkled. Sleeves rolled up, the younger leaned towards the pinkette, grinning at him.

Renjun on the other hand didn't look up, red blossomed across his delicate features. "If we're having to work together I'd rather it not be unbearable. Okay?" With a growly tone the elder continued to write, hand and quill swiftly moving across the parchment.

Hands writing down last minute notes Renjun sharply inhaled when Donghyuck abruptly leaned down into his space. His arms hummed with a comforting warmth, flowers shifting to a peach color that complemented his complexion. Renjun's heart skipped a beat the faint blush warmed his smooth skin.

"Well, I'm glad you decided to be so gracious." Donghyuck purred into his ear, voice lilting gently. Warm fingers traced over the blooming peach chrysanthemum bud on Renjun's forearm.

The flower reacted to the gentle touch, the petals opening small streaks of pink appeared on the petals. Renjun pulled his arm away from the touch like he was burnt from the warm touch. Head shooting up he glared at the brunette, eyes narrowed in flustered anger.

"Stop that." Voice harsh, neither of them noticing the blooming flower. A myriad of emotions surged through Renjun's being, the tidal wave slamming into him with force. Like the splash of a crashing wave rouge rushed upon the pinkette's already flushed features.

A patronizing laugh slipped from Donghyuck's mouth, the male slipped off the desk and landed gently on his feet. Ignoring the I-am-going-to-bury-you-six-feet-under look Renjun sent him, he stretched eyes scanning the excited third years that skittered about the classroom. Professor Moon entered the classroom wearing a parchment colored dress shirt with a blue and gold waistcoat buttoned around his slim waist. The waistcoat had swirling designs embroidered with gold.

"Alright class, let's get started with our prefect taught lesson today." Breeze-like voice floating through the air Taeil turned to Renjun and Donghyuck a knowing smile on his face watching the two stare each other down.

Renjun rose to his feet, parchment in hand he fixed his glasses. "Today we will be teach you about Boggarts. Now, we don't actually know what they look like as they take shape of their opponents greatest fear." Glancing around at the students he noticed their bright expressions drop into fearful ones.

The brunette giggled lightly, a bright smile on his face eyes twinkling with excitement. His expression was very different from when he had just talked to Renjun. He skipped towards the group of students gathered near one end of the class. "This wardrobe that Professor Moon has placed not-so inconspicuously in the somewhat center of the classroom holds the Boggart."

Taeil sent a playful glare at the Slytherin prefect, shaking his head at Donghyuck's teasing antics. Fingers playing with the slip of parchment between his small hands, the pinkette approached the closet, soft palms resting against the engraved wood. The closet rumbled under his palms, the Boggart swirling inside the wooden casing. The professor watched the two boys teach the class, their energy bubbling together and creating an energized atmosphere. His eyes flashed between the two, they were complete opposites yet they worked together extremely well.

Sun and Moon

"I'll show you how to deal with a Boggart when you meet them. In one way this is a easy way to help get over your greatest fear." Donghyuck smiled standing in front of the line, wand in hand, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Renjun's eyes met Donghyuck's, the elder gave him a worried look waiting for his approval to open the closet. The sun-kissed boy nodded, fear slipping through the cracks in his heart, gripping onto his heart. The Ravenclaw opened the wooden cage, fingers clenching onto the wrought iron handles. Renjun watched the boggart slip out of it's case taking the form of an angry woman who sent venom-filled glares.

The older flitted his eyes to Donghyuck, his eyes were becoming glassy, the turmoil showing through them. Panging against his chest the growing pit of concern tore at Renjun. Why was he actually concerned for the male? He could see the vulnerability written across the brunette's face.

Donghyuck could hear the nasty comments his mother had thrown at him from their previous encounters. Her words ringed in his ears, voice screeching insults and rage dipped profanities. A warm hand pulled him back from the suffocating voice, glassy eyes peering over to his left he saw Renjun. His brows were pulled together, the smooth skin wrinkling between them.

Eyes shooting back to the Boggart, Donghyuck quietly whispered the only words that could stop the creature, "Riddikulus." The woman spun in a circle, on a full turn she turned into a rock covered in moss. Upon seeing the moss covered rock a small disbelieving laugh left Donghyuck's mouth, eyes crinkling at the corner.

Taeil watched with interest, Renjun had finally softened his heart on the younger boy. The latter male patted Donghyuck on the shoulder, pulling him in a short side hug before pulling away after he realized what he had just did. Both boys flushed with a soft peach color, shy and flustered looks sent towards each other.

This book is probably going to be short but I haven't decided yet. I'm still working on writing out emotions and adding personalities to my writing. Why is it so difficult? :<

I hope you Lovelies have a wonderful day/evening! <3
