Even after a strangely heartfelt cuddle session Renjun continued to ignore Donghyuck. Not only has be continued to ignore Donghyuck and Mark he has now decided that ignoring the entire group of friends was a fantastic idea.

Yeah, no.

Determined as always Donghyuck sat at Slytherin table in the great hall scribbling in his journal. The quill glided across the leather-bound book in short and slick letters. A myriad of ideas filled the pages, each a strange and convoluted attempt to get Renjun's attention.

Jaemin was sat next to him peering over his shoulder giving small comments to each bullet point. The blonde let out a sharp cackle once he saw the last and final point, Donghyuck had actually listened to his silent murmur of plans of chaos;

Chase him down and kiss him

"You're absolutely chaotic, that was a joke. Why would you even write that? You don't li-" Pausing at the glare the smaller male sent him Jaemin gasped upon realizing he was wrong. The blonde was surprised to see that he actually wrote down the idea the latter had suggested for his own amusement. "YOU LIKE HUANG RENJUN?!"

Yells of protest carried across the hall, attracting all kinds of attention the brunette really didn't want. His friends that were sat at the Hufflepuff table looked over upon the sound of Donghyuck's surprisingly on key screams. They giggled seeing the confident gay that Jaemin was cowering from one piercing stare that the shorter prefect sent him. Rising to their feet they trotted towards the green and silver clad males. Their sudden appearance called Donghyuck to slam his journal shut, winding the long string of leather around the bound parchment.

Donghyuck grabbed the front of Jaemin's robe tugging him close, eyes narrowed into daggers. If looks could kill, Jaemin would be encased cement and thrown in the ocean never to be seen again. "I will erase you from existence if you even tell him." Soon after the threat swirled into the cozy atmosphere the brunette's tense body seemed to soften his tan hands slipping away from Jaemin's robe.

"So uh...what's that whole screaming thing about, y'know besides the fact that Jaemin kinda outted you in front of most of the school?" Jeno quietly murmured when he sat down next to the distressed and red-faced boy, ruffling the rust-colored locks.

Tucking the journal towards his chest he slumped against the table, his warm love-tinted cheeks began to calm down once they pressed to the cool lacquered wood table. Eyes sliding shut the boy quietly hummed to himself, the noise vibrating against the table. Voices fluttered back and forth above his head.

Frowning to himself he drummed his fingers against the journal tucked into the heavy emerald and silver robes. His brows pulled together in thought. Why was Renjun ignoring him if he told the latter to stick close to him? He only wanted to be helpful. Donghyuck was genuinely worried for the pinkette.

The pain the other was in scared him. Images of Renjun with tears in his eyes, shattering sparks of emerald buried within the brown iris' pushed against his consciousness. Each tear that flowed down the sloping and gentle features hurt him.

He couldn't see the other in anymore pain, Donghyuck was going to find him and fix this mess even if he lost the short-tempered boy.

"Yah! Huang Renjun, get your ass over here!" A sharp melodious voice carried across the grounds near the gates of Hogwarts.

The called for boy turned on his heels, crushed rock grinding beneath his feet from the sudden movement. Eyes widening to a size that would be considered comical Renjun watched as Donghyuck came barreling down the crushed granite path towards him.

Frozen in his spot the pinkette watched him run, robes fluttering behind him. The sun caressed his sharp cheekbones, glowing with each step he took towards the other. He was enchanting to watch, running towards him was a being that seemed to be sculpted by the sun, each caress the gleaming light graced the boy with made his honeyed skin look even softer. The closer he came the easier it became to see each beautiful feature of him, the moles on his neck and face, light refracted within the brown eyes turning them a tawny brown.

Renjun swore the boy was apart of the sun, his personality always bright and cheery, even his laughter glittered like perfectly ocean smooth jewels. Just looking at the male caused the vines to curl and grow in happiness, each movement created a fuzzy warmth that vibrated his body. A small giggle erupted from his throat at the feeling.

Before he had a chance to process what happened he was sprawled across the granite path with a heavy and warm body on top of him. He blinked owlishly up at the panting boy sitting atop him. "Why are you on me? Please get off of me." The granite uncomfortably pushed against his back, different jagged and pointed edges pushing into the navy and bronze robes.

"You...you gotta kiss me first." Donghyuck panted, his cheeks flushed, Renjun couldn't tell if it was from the exertion or embarrassment.

A choked noise left Renjun when Donghyuck's face came closer to his, hovering over him, he could see the glittering gold lines within the brown iris', the slope of his nose, plush chrysanthemum-pink lips parted with his warm breath ghosting over his lips. Panicking the pinkette brought his hands up to cradle the Slytherin's face, pushing at him to put space between them.

He huffed a short and stuttered breath, "I-I am not kissing you, that's just a weird request." The blossoming chrysanthemum's along his throat blushed a two-toned shade between orange and pink, almost like a sunset.

Giggling to himself, Donghyuck tossed his journal to the side, the object of bound pages slide across the ground creating a dust cloud that obscured the two from their surroundings. His eyes scanned down the length of Renjun's neck noticing the pretty flowers blooming to greet him, the petals seemed to move on their own accord.

Warm lips were pressed to his, the sensation shocked Renjun from his daze. Eyes instinctively slipping shut he curled his page roughened fingers around Donghyuck's jaw. The latter hummed in content, it felt almost as if the petals spread from Renjun to Donghyuck, grazing his cheeks before settling over his heart. Feather-light caresses curled around his heart in a comforting manner.

Finally pulling away from the spontaneous brush of lips Donghyuck grinned seeing his theory to be correct. A large chrysanthemum bloomed right over Renjun's adams apple, large enough to be held with both hands, the crimson flower shone brightly under the sun.

"I knew it, I was right." A gleeful giggle slipped past the sun-boy's lips a cute smile brightening his features.

Coming to his sense, the boy beneath Donghyuck fluttered his eyes open. "You actually just kissed me? Why?" He paused once he noticed the matching red chrysanthemum adorning the side of his neck. "You have a chrysanthemum on your neck..."

Reaching a hand up the brunette brushed his fingertips against the flower, smiling down at Renjun. "It's because of you, you idiot."

This is definitely not the best written chapter but I couldn't help myself with writing the second the last chapter of Moonlit Mums. I mayhaps have gotten distracted by someone who means a lot to me....

I hope y'all enjoyed this weird and oddly plot filled chapter. I don't think I did a good job spreading the plot line out but, I love y'all!

Look forward to the final chapter coming out a while after this!
