Heavy doors swung open, the hinges creaking from the weight. An excited ball of sunshine barreled in, rust colored hair fluttering from the wind pushing against his face. The emerald green and silver robes billowing behind him, a scroll of aged parchment clutched between his left hand.

"Huang Renjun!" A pitchy voice called to said boy, his head turning to see Donghyuck running at him, cheeks flushed from the exertion.

Before the pale rose haired male could turn his body to face him, another rammed into him. The wind was knocked out of him from the force, an audible thump pushed from the impact. Renjun's eyes widened as he gasped for air.

Warm arms wound around his neck, happy childlike giggles escaping Donghyuck pink lips. "Guess who got a distinction on his Herbology exam~" His Voice was smooth and curled around Renjun like a pleasingly warm blanket tinged with nectar.

Red streaked across the Chinese male's face, the dark rouge made the pale pink of his hair look even paler. His body tensed up from the hot body pressed up against his. Unknown to him Renjun's eyes glowed a dark green, the emerald vines became gold and slithered along his neck slowly winding around his delicate throat, tendrils grasping at his jawline before they settled into their usual emerald green. Once the vines stopped their growth his eyes became the warm pools of chocolate brown.

His lips spread into a wide grin, the corners curling up in glee. Renjun struggled to turn around, his arms winding tightly around Donghyuck's waist holding him to his chest. "I am so proud of you!"

Peels of giggles slipped from the sun-kissed boy's lips. Face burying into the Renjun's exposed pale neck, he squeezed the older boy tighter. The two were off in their own world, hushed murmurs of happiness passing between them.

Donghyhuck couldn't contain himself and pulled away to press a kiss to Renjun's bright red cheek. "I'm so happy I could kiss you right now!" Mark's fork with a small piece of watermelon slipped from his hand clattering to the plate. The sharp clanking sound broke the two from their hushed discussion. Renjun turned his head looking at the boys sitting around them noticing their expressions. Their mouths were parted, eyes wide and bodies stiff with shock.

The sun-kissed boy pulled away from Renjun, missing the body heat the smaller male produced. Lips pulling down at the corners, he finally refocused onto the group of boys sitting at one end of Hufflepuff table. A sharp snort left Donghyuck, his frown becoming a happy smile.

"What's with all of the faces?" Donghyuck questioned, shoulder pushing Renjun over, plopping down onto the bench next to him.

Chenle cleared his throat, one of the first to refocus and break from the ice of shock. Shaking his head he smiled at the two close boys, his eyes fliting between the two. A mischievous glitter shown in his brown eyes. He leaned into Jaemin's space a cute high pitched giggle leaving him.

Pressed against his side Chenle softly whispered, "do you think they realize how obvious they're being?" Jaemin let out a snort his hand pressing to his mouth to help suppress the noise.

The blonde boy eyed Renjun and Donghyuck, his brown iris' trailed the twinning vines and dark pink chrysanthemums littering Renjun's body. "Seems you two have grown fond of each other."

Renjun sent a deadly glare at the boy with floppy blonde hair, who wore a teasing smirk. His cheeks streaked red once more. Ignoring the jabs and teasing remarks sent their way while Donghyuck basked in the attention like the serpent he was. He gently pried the aged piece of parchment from the warm tan hands. Looking at the bottom right corner there was indeed in crimson ink the mark of a distinction. He let out a sharp exhale, their studying really did pay off.

Strange noises left Jeno's mouth, confusion evident on his face. His mouth hung open, eyes blinking owlishly while he gave them a weird look. "Huh?" Chenle's hand came up and tapped his chin urging the older to close his mouth. "Since when did you two get along?! I feel very left out!" A small pout formed, his plush lips pushing out with his furrowed brows, his eyes sparkling in faux sadness.

Donghyuck grinned leaning into Renjun's shoulder, the older tensing from the contact. The pink haired male scratched at his hands, his fingernails digging into the flower covered skin. Quickly noticing the habit, the rust-colored haired boy reached over placing his hands atop Renjun's. His smile fading to a concerned slight downturn of his mouth.

"Well, I was failing at Herbology and I asked him for help." Hesitating, he thumbed over the crescent moon marred skin. His gentle touch soothed Renjun's mind, his anxiety chipping away into the sea of calm. "We've been hanging out ever since. The idiot finally realized I'm not an asshole."

Renjun gaped at him sending a sharp jab into his side. "Don't be such a prat."

"Donghyuck, you are an asshole though." The familiar voice of their favorite youngest Gryffindor rung out, his finger pointing accusatorially at said male.

Donghyuck's head whipped to him, his face pinching into a scowl. The entire group burst out into laughter. Their savage maknae strikes again.

Yeah, so uhm...definitely going to edit and possibly rewrite this after it's finished. My brain doesn't even know what it's doing.

There's only four chapters left! I hope you've enjoyed this extremely confusing story. (Not even sure if this has a plot line...)
