It was now July 3rd, almost a month after the whole Bowers Gang Situation, and the whole Losers Club were finally back to normal. Henry had been pissed when he'd found out what Stan had done, but he'd only found out after Stan had tricked them into coming down to the barrens. That had ended in a lot off dirt, blood and flying rocks. Of course, as always, the Losers had won the rock fight, and the others had backed off, and, despite being in immense pain, they had all laughed it off the whole walk back to Dr K's house to fix 'em up.
A while after that, Mike had asked Jen on a date, and Bev, being Bev, suggested to Ben that they could go on a double date, which almost caused the poor boy to have a heart attack. Anyways, now Jen and Mike were a couple, as were Bev and Ben.
"Hey, you guys wanna go to the fourth of July parade tomorrow?" Ben asked, looking around the room at his friends, who were all gathered in Jens massive attic.
"That sounds fun." Jenny shrugged.
"Hm, sure." Bev said quietly, her head resting on Bens shoulder.
"I dunno.." Stan spoke hesitantly. "Ive never really been too keen on parades.."
"Wait, what are we talking about?" Richie asked, looking up from the comic book that he had resting in Eddies lap.
"Fourth of July parade, idiot." Eddie told him.
"Oh!" Richie nodded, but then shook his head. "Yeah, nope. Theres gonna be a clown."
A chorus of 'Nopes', 'oh, okay, no's' and a loud 'Hell no' from Mike, sounded through the room.
"Do you guys have some collective trauma with a clown or something?" Jen joked laughing a little, but her face slowly fell when the room went silent.
"Something like thah-hat." Bill whispered.
"Exactly like that." Richie corrected him.
"W-what was it..?" Jen asked, smiling a little awkwardly.
"Long story." Stan told her.
"I have time."

Bill had informed her on the events of '89, the rest of them telling what happened to them separately, all of them, except Eddie, being a little surprised about Richies story with the Paul Bunyan statue.
They'd showed her Stans bite mark scars, and Bens stomach scar, and their blood oath scars.
By the end, all of them felt a little sick, that being the first time they'd properly addressed their shared trauma since that summer.
"You guys are crazy.." Jen whispered after a few long minutes of silence, looking around at them with wide eyes.
"We're not crazy!" Bev furrowed her eyebrows, getting defensive. "It happened! You saw our scars!"
"No-" Jen shook her head. "I mean- I- I Believe you! I do! But- Im saying- you're crazy for even thinking about trying to kill a shapeshifting entity thats been around for- what?" She turned to Ben. "Millions of years? At thirteen?? I didn't even understand basic math at thirteen!"
