The whole day, The Losers had took Stan to different places around town. First they took him to a little 24h café that Beverlys aunt worked at. Bev was pretty close with the manager, Shauna, and was able to get them the whole place for three hours. It was decorated with different coloured balloons (no red ones, for obvious reasons), banners, and in the middle of the table was a birthday cake with the the words Happy Birthday Bird Boy written in blue icing, and decorated with some cartoon birds. They'd all given him gifts then, Stan being flustered again and telling them they shouldn't have wasted their money on him.
Eddie had told him to shut up while shoving his gift into his hands. It was a silver necklace with the Star of David, exactly like the one Henry Bowers had whipped off of Stans neck one time, leaving a horrible red mark on the back of Stans neck, and somehow snapped the star in half. Stan had been too scared to tell his father it had been broken, since it was his grandfathers, so he simply stated he'd stopped wearing it because it hurt his neck (his father hadn't been too happy about that, but oh well). He'd also given him some book he'd seen Stan staring at through the window of a book shop a while ago, it was too expensive for Stan to want to buy, but Eddie could tell he really wanted it.
Ben had given him a hand made music box with a blue bird inside.
Mike gave him a puzzle he'd got custom made of the Losers a few weeks ago at the quarry after The Apocalyptic Rock fight 2.0, they'd gone there to wash off the blood, though there wasn't much. Eddie had nagged at them the whole time, saying they were gonna get Impetigo or a staph infection, to which Richie had replied by splashing him with water and telling him it was the "Same thing, idiot!".
Jennys gift was an expensive new polaroid camera, since she didn't really know him as well as the others, but she'd seen him taking photos of the birds at the park one time.
Bill shyly gave him a book of drawings he'd made for Stan, the front cover was Stan with a robin perched on his finger, apologising for it not being a bought gift, muttering something about his parents and how money was tight for him at the moment. Of course, Stan told him he didn't need to apologise and that he loved the drawing, complimenting his skills.
Lastly, Bev stood up and walked into a small cleaning closet in the café, emerging a few moments later with a birdcage with a small blue budgie rattling around inside, chirping excitedly.
"So, I'd just like to say that this was my idea but we all chipped in to buy her." Bev stated, placing the cage down in front of Stanley, who looked a little stunned.
"Her names Ari!" Richie said excitedly, sticking his finger into the cage. Ari nipped his finger and Richie pulled it back out. "She does that out of love, i swear!"
"Nothing bites you out of love, dumbass!" Eddie laughed.
"Your mom does-"

"Are we there yet?" Stan asked, a little impatiently, staring at the blackness in front of him from Bill covering his eyes.
They'd dropped Ari and the rest of Stans gifts off at Richies house, making the excuse that Stans parents had people over at the moment.
"Almost there!" Ben informed him, Richie giving his hand a small squeeze as he led him, making sure he wouldn't fall.
