Just then a howl was heard from afar. Bilbo looks worried once he heard the howl, “Was that a wolf? Are there wolves out there?”

Bofur replies with an instinct of worry, “Wolves? No that is not a wolf.” Behind them a Warg attacks the Company. Eminork was toppled over by the large wolf-like creature. Thorin ran over to her and slain the creature as Eminork was fighting it with her bare hands.

Thorin then spoke to his Company with anger, “Warg scouts. I presume an Orc pack is not far behind.”

Bilbo interrupts with worry, “Orc pack?”

Gandalf then interrupted him and asked Thorin, “Who did you tell about your quest beyond your kin?”

        Thorin angrily said, “No one.”

Gandalf asks him again but with anger back to him, “Who did you tell!”

Thorin answers again, “No one I swear. What in hells name is going on?”

Thorin asks Gandalf with a sigh and anger. Gandalf sighs to himself and says, “We’re being hunted.”

Dwalin then speaks to them, “We have to get out of here.”

Ori then speaks with worry to the whole Company, “We can’t we have no ponies. They aborted.”

Radigast then speaks, “I’ll draw them off.”

Gandalf turns to Radigast and says, “These are Goldbell Wargs they will out run you.”

Radigast then spoke back to Gandalf pointing to his rabbit sled, “These are Rostibell Rabbits. I’d like to see them try.” Radigast mounted his sled and rode off. Drawing the Wargs and their riders away from the Company. Then they heard howls in the distant.

The Company begins to move. Radigast was now being chased by the Wargs. He yelled to them as he rode away, “Come and get me!” The head Orc then yelled to his riders in the Dark Speech. They rode after Radigast.

Gandalf peaked behind a rock then turned to the Company and said, “Come on.” The Company follows Gandalf across the plains.

Just then Bilbo turns around and asks in worry, “Where is Eminork?!” Thorin, Fili, Kili and the rest of the dwarves looked around them with worry and regret. Then in the distance they see a small figure running across the plain from the forest. Eminork was following them from afar.

Thorin stepped forward and said, “I will go to her. She must be protected.”

Gandalf stopped him and said, “No. She is armed and she can protect herself.”

Thorin sighed and said as he lowered his head down, “I just want her to be safe.”

Bilbo turned to Thorin and said as he patted him on the back, “She will be. She knows how to fight and fight she will.”

Radigast still running from the Wargs dodges and weaves from their attacks. The Company still on the move hides behind the rocks. Waiting for the right time to run across the plains. The run again this time they stop and a look of worry slides across Thorin’s face. On the hillside the Wargs are chasing Radigast. The Company saw them chasing the brown wizard.

Gandalf tells the Company in a calm voice, “Stay together.” The Company runs again farther and farther away but somehow ending up closer to the Wargs then you think. Behind the rocks Gandalf leads the Orcs to the Hidden Pass which leads to Rivendell.

Thorin looks at Gandalf and asks him, “Where are you leading us?” As the Company doesn’t know where they are headed. Gandalf doesn’t answer but lightly sighs and leads the Company forward. Thorin follows after them. By instinct Thorin turns around and sees Eminork fighting an Orc rider. He lightly prays to himself and looks back at Eminork who is now running toward him following the Companies footsteps. He charges forward to the Company. Radigast is still running from the Warg riders. One Orc rider stops and smells the air.

He suspects that more people are near. The Company quickly hides behind a large rock formation. The Orc rider follows the smell of the Company to the rock formation. He pulls out his sword and sniffs the air again. Thorin looks up at the rider then at his nephew Kili he nods at him. Kili quietly pulls out one of his arrows. He pulls it back in the bow and releases it. The Orc rider falls to the ground below and fights the Company. The cry of the Warg and its rider was heard by the other Orcs. The Company kills the Warg and its rider. The other Orcs follow the cry to the rock formation. The head Orc tells his men to follow and kill the dwarves.

The Company runs away as Gandalf yells, “Move! Run!” Eminork sees the Warg’s chasing the Company. She grabs her arrows and shoots three of the Orc riders. They fall down dead to the ground. Eminork then runs toward the Company as fast as her legs can carry her. In the distance she sees the Orcs surrounded the Company. Gandalf then yelled at the Company saying, “This way. Quickly!”

Thorin’s nephew Kili yells to Thorin as he grabs his bow, “Their coming!”

Thorin then said to his nephew Kili, “Kili, Shoot them!!!” Gandalf looks back at a rock formation and sees the entrance to the Hidden Pass. Gandalf runs to the Pass and followed the trail.

Fili pulls out his dwarvish sword and yells to Kili, “Shoot!!” Kili grabs an arrow and releases it. With good aim it hits the Orc in the neck and falls over dead.

Fili then asks the Company with anger, “Where’s Gandalf?!”

Dwalin answers him with anger as he holds his axe, “He’s abandoned us.”

Ori grabs a pebble and pulls it back in the sling. The head Orc slowly comes forward. Ori releases the pebble from the sling and it hits the Warg. The Warg continues to charge forward at Ori. Thorin then pulled out his sword as the Orcs surrounded them, “Hold your ground!”

Bilbo turns around and sees Gandalf shouting at the Company, “This way you fools!” Thorin turns and follows Gandalf’s instructions and goes toward the Hidden Pass.

Thorin yells to his Company, “Come on, and move!”

Thorin reaches the Pass entrance and yells to the Company, “Quickly all of you!” The dwarves and Bilbo pile in.

Bilbo and Thorin then realize Eminork has not reached them. “I must find her!” Thorin yelled to his Company.

Gandalf yelled to him, “No, Thorin. It is too late.”

Thorin turned to Gandalf and asked, “What do you mean?” Just then an Elven horn was heard. Rivendell had come to save their Hidden Pass from Orcs. The Elvish riders shot the Orcs with their arrows. One Orc fell dead into the entrance of the Hidden Pass.

Gandalf grabbed his staff and pointed it toward the dead Orc. Insuring that he was in fact dead. Thorin bent down and picked up the arrow that lay in the Orcs neck. He grunted his face and spoke as he threw down the arrow, “Elves.”
