Second Ending

"awh (y/n), please? Yanjun invited me and I said yes already..." Becca pleads.

It's lunchtime, and Becca just said that her boyfriend, Yanjun, invited her to come to the new bubble tea shop with his friends, and that he wanted to invite her friends as well.

"okay.. But who's coming?" you say slowly.

"Yanjun, me, Xukun, Justin, Zhengting, and Cheng Cheng," she replies quickly.

Charlotte perks up at the mention of Justin's name.

"Justin? He's coming?"she says eagerly.

"Yeah he is haha," Becca replies.

You remember the fact that Charlotte confessed to liking Justin yesterday. And you smirk, watching Charlotte's expression.

"okay, okay, it's fine, i'll go..." you say, defeated.

Becca makes a sound that sounds somewhere between yesssssss and thanksssssssss and grins.

"Well, since (y/n) is already going, don't you guys think you guys should go too?" Becca asks.

Diane sighs and says sure quietly, and Charlotte bobs her head up and down quickly.

"lol that's good then, i'll tell Yanjun," Becca says and then gets up.

From the table, you see Xukun's stare falling on you, and he smiles at you. You smile back, as Becca comes to your table.

"okay, so that's good then, we'll go today." Becca says just as the bell rings.

You and your friends gather your things, and you follow the crowd to leave the cafeteria. Someone walks beside you, and speaks in your ear. You recognize Xukun's voice, steamy in your ear.

"I'll see you tonight, (y/n)."

Sitting on the edge of the fountain, you look forward as Becca opens her locker in front of you. Charlotte runs to sit next to you, and looks around for Justin. You make small talk and watch Becca close her locker and join you. Xukun walks over with your brother and you greet each other normally, Kun taking the place next to you. With the two boys' arrival, silence appears quickly. You check your phone awkwardly but are saved by Yanjun's arrival. Becca runs up to him and he kisses her softly

"ugh- Becca! You're in the hallway, not at Yanjun's house..." Diane says, as she walks over and comes closer to the couple.

"Sorry, sorry." Becca says, breaking apart from Yanjun.

Becca sits at the end with Yanjun as Justin, Zhengting and Cheng Cheng come over.

"H-hi Justin," you hear Charlotte say quietly to Justin.

"hello Charlotte," Justin replies with a shy smile.

Everyone gets ready to leave, and talk about what they're going to order, and as they near the shop, your brother asks if everyone brought their own money. Everyone nods and Linong sighs in relief.

You order a brown sugar milk tea with double the pearls and find a large table. Everyone sits down, and when Zhengting comes back with all the drinks, everyone crowds around the middle of the table. You grab yours and go back to your seat.

Xukun sits beside you again and you sip your drink. It tastes really good, and you're happy with it. Legs swinging, you look at Xukun next to you, and also your friends. People you care about, and people that care about you are here. You sit back and watch the scene, sipping your tea, satisfied.
