You cannot believe it. Cai Xukun, asked you, to be his partner. Shyly, trying to not seem too eager, you accept. 

"Sure!" you say excitedly. 

He takes your hand and you head to the table at the corner. You notice that his palms are warm and sweaty, and as you sit down, he speaks. 

"You're (y/n) right?" he asks softly. 

"Y-yeah, yeah I am," you answer quietly. 

Turning, you see Charlotte and Becca looking at you with disbelief. You smile at them, as the teacher begins handing out equipment.

"Haha, of course, I'm not scared!" Xukun says, laughing. 

You laugh and smile mischievously. Today is looking at items through the microscope, and there is a bug specimen on the viewer. Xukun has been teasing you about being scared to look, and you tease him back. You had fun with Xukun and realize that this was a good decision. He insists to walk you home after school and says that he lives near you. After Becca makes her way to her house, he asks where your house in. You point to the road ahead, and he grasps your hand while pointing to a street bit further ahead. His hand is warm, and he holds your hand softly. You say goodbye to him and hug him quickly before running into your house, glimpsing his soft smile for a second before you walk in.

Now at home, you look at your notes from today and review them for the next test. Your phone rings and you pick it up to find a notification.
