Her each step chimed the walls of her usually silent house as they chanted the happy song and the slow thumps of her heart danced in euphoria. The day happenings brought a smile on her face and his remembrance surged her with happiness.
The little time she had spent with him made her realise how he was trying to change for her, be a better person and let her into his past. And what matters the most is seeing someone try at least.
His fondness for her is growing each day and she's liking too that how's becoming a part of her life but her mind drifts to the fact is it worth the risk. There was a time in her life when all she lived a chaotic life, a life where her own existence was tormenting her and her own skin was unbearable. She would have torn apart if not for Neha who stood through her hard times.
Priya has no idea what to even tell Neha about Ram but she has to tell her as she has always led her way through many tough times. She sighed and planned to meet her soon but before wishes to know Ram a little more. For how much she even knows about him? None to say in reality.
Sleep overtook her little happy confused soul for the memories of the day to last in her heart for life and be the happy song to her tough days.

The next morning, she drove to the office in a rather silent drive than her usual with music blasting. The signal light stuck red and she huffed in dissatisfaction, hoping she wouldn't be late.
Her eyes flickered around as people exasperatingly honked impatiently but they dropped on his black Mercedes-Benz car. She pushed herself more forward to catch a glimpse of him. At last, she saw Ram sitting at the back seat and his eyes transfixed on the laptop with Alex driving.
To her surprise, she couldn't recognise this person. This Ram was not the person she meets daily at the beach, he wasn't her friend Ram. The demeanour he carried shook her, his sharp eyes tirelessly working and his body stiffed in attitude.
Does she even know who he is, she wondered.
The traffic cleared and she wheeled towards the office without thinking more about it. It was already a confusing start of the day and what more to follow, she thought.
She reached the office while his thoughts never left her mind. As she started working, her thoughts would drift back to the man she saw which made her wonder who is he even to her. All she has known him is for 2 hours of a day but even then so easily getting attached with him and his thoughts for never to leave her mind.
He would come in her thoughts, take her away into his sweet world full of happiness only to sweep her off her feet with a hard hit realisation that who is he?
Her thoughts and eyes came to a halt as the clock ticked 1'O clock and people exited their cubicle for lunch. She got up from her seat but her phone pinged making her rush upon seeing the text, "Meet me at the cafe, down your office building", it read.
She found there was something odd with it but nevertheless quickened her steps towards the downstairs. Finally, catching a glimpse of the person, she settled herself on the opposite seat to Neha.
Neha's tensed up brows indicated something was wrong. "Neha, what's wrong?", she asked curiously and suspicious of her picking up a fight with Vikram again. But to her distress, it was something else, some questions she would be tossed with by her and the answers she was yet to find.
"You tell me what is really going on?" Neha spoke furiously.
Priya tensed up realising Neha was acting up feisty today but surely there was something behind it to follow, "What are you speaking? Please tell me clearly what's wrong."
