Ram jumped and hopped his way through the stairs as the lift seemed to play with his patience. Running down the stairs seemed much better for him to drive quickly to Priya's office, he wanted to reach her office as soon as possible.
He drove hastily through the traffic with a few side-turns and took the relatively congested short route to her office so as to reach a little early. Despite it being an hour drive he was already down her office in 45 mins. Getting way too excited for this meet with her, this was the first time she herself called him for such impromptu plans.
"Hey", a waving Priya came rushing towards him. Ram waved back at her and actioned her to sit in.
"Let's go", sitting inside the car, she flashed her happy smile at him but Ram sulked in return.
"Where's my hug?" Ram asked frowning like a child not getting his hug like the usual meets.
"You're wearing your seat belt drama queen", Priya replied back acting bogusly annoyed at his demanding nature but her heart was timidly curved in bliss.
"So what?" Ram shrugged her remark and removed his seat belt, leaning towards her as he pulled her in his arms.
She wrapped her slim hands around his neck with their bodies happily entwined for a hug. But the sudden honking from the car behind made Ram leave her from his arms all embarrassed. He started driving but was blushing sheepishly on hearing the absurd remark from the passer-by car.
They drove off to Ram's favourite restaurant for lunch. Priya stifled seeing the beautiful dining in fascination as they moved to a private booth.
Ram gestured Priya to sit first as she sat on the sofa on the left and Ram took a seat in front of her.
"Liked it", Ram asked holding her in the warmth of his eyes.
"You always have beautiful choices", she remarked still glancing around as a butler hushed his way placing the menu on the table and left immediately giving them privacy.
"I was really craving Chinese from a few days so how about we order that?" Ram asked clapping his hands in excitement.
Priya crinkled her face in uneasiness remembering the last time she had Chinese and what a mess that night was, "Ah okay."
Ram noticed her expressions as she flipped through the Chinese food section and read through the list with a displeased look. "You don't like Chinese?", Ram asked with a small laugh as she nodded a no and gave him a sorry look.
"Last time I had Chinese, the night was a blurry mess", Priya reprimanded remembering the night to instantly swat the memories away.
"I would love to know what happened then but let's order something else first", Ram pipped their conversation.
Priya looked at him perplexed as he went ordering the array of dishes listed and nodded to a few of the waiter's suggestion as well even though she nodded her head in negation stopping him.
"So tell me what really happened?", Ram implored to know the story after finishing with the ordering. Priya glared at him in return as to how he finished ordering so quick but kept it to herself.
"Come on, tell me na", Ram begged again seeing her unresponsive.
"Nothing like that happened", Priya retorted and sat there still fretting over the night remembrances.
"Okay then let me order Chinese too", he raised his hand to press the bell to call the waiter again but rather she smacked his hand in his withdrawal.
Priya knew his questions wouldn't end until she tells him or the worse he'll end up ordering more. "So Neha took me to a club that night. We first had some Chinese food and then had a few drinks over our limit. Poor Vikram had such a tough time handling us", Priya laughed remembering that day and realised its been such a long time since they had such an outing.
