"Ram?" She called a lost Ram.

"Hmm", all he could is hum back.

"Do you feel something for me?" She chocked on her words and looked at him with apprehension and a longing.

He looked at her and then her eyes, both of them reflecting a different story and then his own heart with something else in itself.

"Why do you want to know this?" He asked her in a relatively calmer tone than she expected him to. But she seemed to be fighting with her own soul to come up with the reflection of her emotions. She wanted him to believe her.

"Because I don't want to detach myself from you, from us", her sore eyes warned him and instantly lowered to hide something inside them from him.

He was shocked to see her strange reaction. His words seemed to fumble under his breathe as his mind flinched on her thinking, "And why would that happen?"

Biting her lower lip, she tried hard to resist the surprisingly piled up emotions she didn't wish for.

She closed her eyes and said it out to him not so pretentiously, "The day you'll feel for me is the day I would wish to run from you."

Ram looked at her keenly, what's she trying to hide from him. There was a pain in her eyes and he wanted to know that. He wanted to be there for her.

He spoke after a pause, "Why is there always a tag needed for two people to be together? Aren't those two people and their hearts enough to be with each other?" Ram asked her and took her hand in his to give her all the strength needed. His words made her finally look up at him in surprise but was still twigged by insecurity spooned with her cruel past.

"I don't want to lose you Ram", her voice was honestly innocent and too fragile to break into the unshakable belief he was giving her.

"Priya, listen to me. A tag is meant to take things in a certain way and when things don't go in that certain way as you wanted it to be, it destroys everything and leaves behind broken pieces of a relationship. I don't believe in tagging my feelings Priya because then I don't even what it'll be like then. And this is what I feel for you and about us. We're happy like this even", his voice was comforting her a little.

He pressed her palm in assurance and pulled her close to him as her mind still struggled to break free from his hold until she was more confident about it, not him but herself.

"You won't leave me, right? Even when I would want you to", she asked him then.

Ram looked at her and promised her an eternity and it was enough for her, "I won't ever let you go. I'll be there in all your falls, I'll be there in all your glitters and I'll be there whenever you would want someone beside you all my life. Won't that be enough?"

"Don't you wanna know what happened in my past?" She asked him as happy tears started falling from her eyes but he nodded a no.

"Will that matter for me to have you in my present?" He asked her acting much mature than ever.

"Thank you Ram" she mumbled moved into his arms.

He hugged her tight and held her close to his heart, the same heart he denied the feelings it was warning him of a few moments before. There was definitely something he was feeling but wasn't sure what that something was so it was better for him to deny his heart than let her leave him.

Moreover, he knew she needs him even if she won't tell him. If he would let his feelings come in between them, she'll try to escape and he can't let that happen. He needs her in his life, she is his special something and nothing mattered more.
