His eyes fixed on the road but the mind still attaching him to the thoughts of seeing Priya with the person. Is destiny playing a hard game with him or it's just he who's a curse for himself.
All he wanted is for his heart to ache harder till he again becomes numb to this long lost pain. It used to feel a lot better when he felt nothing and cared the least for anything in his life or to say clearly when he ran from every good of his life.
For once he wished and did let go only to be pulled back by his fears and his past thrown right in front of his eyes naked, to play with his present. He had a choice to make now and maybe a harder one this time.
His heart burned with pain and tears forming in his eyes but he couldn't go weak again, not at least in front of this world. He has always maintained a disguise, the one he loathed but tamed everyone around him.
Alex could see something was definitely wrong, he could see the reflection of old Ram in him but didn't have the courage to ask.
The car stopped at his mansion and he quickened his steps with loud thumps that echoed the house with its master's arrival. He banged the door shutting it harder and fell on his knees as the pool of tears that were held high now started dropping into agony.
He wept harder till his heart stopped yearning and the want of being comforted by any good of his life, to say precisely by Priya. Staining the pages of the diary, he poured his heart out with the daunting reality of his life.
A wish to run from everything pulled him back to his inevitable past and now his longing was withering and shattering him to pieces.
How easy it is to believe there's hope, there's light to follow but difficult to actually hold on to it during your dark. He wanted to jump to hold on to everything he did let go in the past or was made to let go but only if he had the courage.
But did he had the courage today? Has she liberated him enough to cope up with his past, was the question now.
He cried more and more till there was nothing left in him but a soul drained to sleep.

Wiping off her tears she fiddled with her phone and stared at the last text by Ram, "I'll see you at the beach in the evening." A thin line of water surfaced near her eyes but a hand reached to wipe it off soon.
Her daze came to an end under the voice, "Stop it now. And tell me what's wrong?" She looked up at her hope, the one trying to help her before she destroys everything.
Her breath hitched and she hiccupped while speaking, "I don't know who he is to me or what I want from him. But it hurts to actually not be with him or talk with him."
The person smiled in response and nodded to the obvious but keeping his word to the person because of whom he's here, he did let her continue first, "You know, I really get happy when he actually does something for me. No matter how hard I try to not show him or act upon it, I just know that he's making me happy."
He hugged her this time and comforted her in his embrace. "How are you here?", Priya asked him as she felt a little better.
"Haha, you know your great friend very well and how she treats me. She was very upset today in the evening", he recalled how Neha stormed into his office.
"Neha, what's wrong? How are you here?" Vikram asked perplexed seeing an anxious Neha barging into his cabin without any notice.
"I don't know what's wrong with her. She's acting stupid", Neha whined.
"Who? Priya?" Vikram asked suspiciously because who else was there for whom Neha would be so worried.
"Yes her. Yesterday I saw her with some guy in the same cafe where we were. And when I went today to her office to ask her who he is, she told he was her friend from the beach named Ram", Neha howled as Vikram stood there cluelessly.
