(Fall POV)

After the Lunch room food fight Ruby and I walked around campus together. It is rather nice out. I couldn't help but watch Ruby. The way her hair flowed with the wind, the red highlights of her hair suit her well, her ethereal silver eyes, everything came together to form one of the most beautiful people I've ever met.  It's a nice change of pace from the usual Pthumerian Watcher or Blood Starved Beast. I really have fallen head over heels for this Silver eyed wonder. She wouldn't feel the same about me that's for sure. I'm her mentor, and not to mention a ruthless killer.

Ruby: "Hold still."

Suddenly Ruby's has stopped me and is behind me. Ruby's hands reached around my neck and start to tie a red string. Her soft skin brushing against my neck which sent a chill down my spine. Is that weird? She appears in front of me looking me over.

Ruby: "I knew it would look good! Every outfit looks better with a cape."

Fall: (Laughing) "Next you'll want me to wear a combat skirt, right?"

I laughed at my own joke but it faded fast as I noticed the mischievous grin growing on her face. I'm not going to end up like Qrow.

Fall: "No Ruby, I'm not going to put on a skirt for you."

Ruby: "We'll see about that."

Ruby then exploded into laughter. I couldn't help but to join. She is one of the few people who can really brighten my mood on a moments notice.

Ruby: "You have to see how you look. I think you'd look good with a cape."

Ruby pulled out her scroll. I got into a pose to make sure it will at least be a good picture. Once the photo was taken Ruby rushed over to show me.

Fall: "I look good."

I untie the cape then take it off. In front of me Ruby is turned around so I do the same she did to me. I wrap the cape around her shoulders. I carefully tie the cape around her neck. The exchange felt a bit more... meaningful than what it really was. With a kind look into each others eyes we continue on our stroll. We end up at the edge of the cliff over looking all of Vale. I leaned onto a railing while Ruby abruptly jumped onto the railing sitting on it. Before I knew what I was doing I grabbed onto Ruby's arms out of fear.

Ruby: "I'm fine. See?"

Fall: "You scared me. It's a hell of a long drop."

Ruby: "Yeah, but I've got my Guardian here."

She said that with a smirk and sincerity. What she doesn't realize is she nailed my job from Ozpin right on the head. I calmed down and returned to leaning on the railing. Vale was such a beautiful kingdom. Did my family live here or near Vale? I've never known. Meanwhile I was drawn out of my thoughts by humming. I look over to Ruby who is looking over Vale and humming a tune.

Fall: "You sure are in a good mood."

Ruby: "Of course! Why wouldn't I be?"

Fall: "Fair point. Then again I never see you in a truly bad mood."

Ruby: "I haven't seen you in a truly bad mood either."

Fall: "That's because when you're around I feel more at peace, and happy."

At the realization of what I just said I face palmed. That was a bit direct wasn't it?

Ruby: "I feel the same."

I look at Ruby who seems to be radiating positivity.
