*General POV*

As Joanna contemplated how to go about this situation, Cas was trying to figure out why she was there. Dean had been searching for her, as was Anna and Sam. He wondered how it was that she would come face to face with him after so long.

"Joanna?" Castiel asked. She didn't say anything. She ran to him and hugged him tightly. He wasn't sure what to do, so he just rubbed circles into her back. Joanna burst into tears. "Joanna, what are you doing here?" Castiel asked.

She pulled away from the hug. "Crowley made me come get you. He promised me that he would take me home if I told him where the hidden angels were. Also I had to bring them to him because he can't come to the places that are blocked off to him. " She said, tears falling from her cheek.

"Why did you help him? There's no guarantee that he's going to take you home." Castiel questioned. "No. He said 'deal' when I told him I'd help him." She clarified.

They stood there in silence as Crowley grew impatient. "What does Crowley want with you, Castiel?" Joanna finally spoke up.

"I honestly don't know. But it's a good thing you found me. I can take you home. Your mother, father, and Sam have been worried sick." Castiel explained.

"But. What if Crowley comes back? He'll be very mad if I just leave him there. He.. He got mad at me a couple of days ago." Joanna said, turning her cheek to show the lasting imprint on her cheek. She winced as she remember how bad it felt.

Castiel looked at her compassionately. He raised his hand, about to heal her pain. She winced again, thinking he'd hit her too. He stopped.

"It's okay, Joanna. I'm not going to hurt you. Crowley should not have touched you. Your father is going to deal with him later. But for now, I'm taking you home. Take my hand." Castiel said, holding out his hand for her to grab. She grabbed it and they popped  outside her home.

She looked in the driveway. Her mother's car was there, as was her father's. She wasn't sure what to do, so she knocked. Castiel put his hand on her shoulder.

The door was opened. "Oh my God. Joanna. I've missed you so much." Anna said, pulling Joanna into her arms.

"Who's ther--" Dean was cut off when he saw Joanna. He ran over to her. Anna let go of her and Joanna jumped into her father's arms. Dean held her really close.

Joanna kissed his cheek and leaned towards her mother's to do the same. Dean set her down so she could run over to Sam.

"Ahem." Castiel said, clearing his throat. "Cas. Did you bring her back?" Dean asked. "Yes. She was working with Crowley. He promised to take her home if she complied with his wishes. He's been a bit.. abusive to her." Castiel said.

Dean hugged Castiel tightly. "Thank you.. for bringing her home safely. I don't think she would be here if she fulfilled Crowley's wishes. He lies a lot." Dean said, thanking Castiel for his great job. Dean patted Castiel's back and pulled away.

Dean stared into Castiel's steel blue eyes for a moment. Dean came to the conclusion that Cas did this out of the goodness of his angel heart, and he admired him for that.
