*General POV*
Joanna woke up from her light slumber. She was a bit groggy because she slept longer than she should have. The taxi pulled into their new driveway, Joanna raced to unbuckle herself so she could survey the new home.
"Go check it out Joanna. Let me know what you think when I get inside with out bags. " Anna called out to Joanna when she was running toward the front door.
Joanna opened the door. She couldn't believe her eyes. It was her father standing there inside the almost empty house. The house still contained remnants of its previous owner.
"Shh." Dean said, putting up a finger to his lips. Joanna ran into his arms and he picked her up. "Hi princess. I'm here to surprise you and Mommy." Dean whispered, referring to Anna. "Okay. Go hide, Daddy. I'll stall her. " Joanna said, as Dean put her down.
Sam was in the backyard checking out the pool, while Anna was about to enter the new home. "Jojo" She called into the house, hearing an echo bouncing off the walls.
"Up here mommy. I need help picking my room. I wanna make sure it's the right one. Can you come up here, please?" Joanna called down. Anna ascended the staircase.
"Which room are you in?" Anna called. "This one." Joanna called back, walking out of the room she was in. Anna entered the room. Joanna wasn't in there. Anna walked over to the closet.
A pair of hands covered her eyes. Aha. She was good at this game. She felt the arms for any indicators of whom had blinded her. A watch. Dean wears a watch. She turned to see his beautiful face smiling back at her.
She jumped into his arms and he swung her in a circle. "What are you doing here?" Anna said, as Dean set her down.
"I missed you too much to let you move in without me being here for you. We already finished the case we were working on and I really wanted to make it up to you. " Dean explained, staring into Anna's soulful brown eyes.
"I love you." Anna whispered into Dean's chest, after she pulled him close. "I love you too." Dean said, pressing his lips to her forehead.
"So is Sammy here? Joanna missed him the most... Just kidding, you take the pie on that." Anna said, letting out a soft laugh. Pie was always a constant with that family. "I say the same thing." Dean said.
"Really? I didn't notice." Anna said, playful sarcasm in her voice. They nuzzled each others noses.
"Did you bring pie, Daddy? Something smells mmm mmm mmm delicious." Joanna said, wiggling between the two love birds.
"You're dang right I did." Dean said, still caring what words he used around her. "You can say damn, Daddy. Mommy doesn't care about that anymore. I don't care." Joanna explained. They all laughed.
"Well. You're damn right I did, Princess. Now let's go eat that pie." Dean said, excitedly. It still amazed Dean that his own daughter might love pie more than he did.
The happy family descended the stairs to find Sam about to attack the pie. Sam turned around. He realized he'd been caught red handed beacuse he saw everyone's jaws dropped. "This isn't what it looks like." He defended.
"Yeah sure. Gimmie the pie, Sam." Dean said, motioning with his hands for Sam to give it to him. "Fine." Sam said, dramatically. Sam was doing that for show. He's not a pie lover like Dean, but he was acting like it. He handed Dean the pie so he could cut it.
