*A few weeks later*

*Anna's POV*

I was sitting on the couch,  looking for places to move. I'm thinkin' of moving up north. Like Kansas. I need to talk with Dean, but he's busy fighting monsters. Making the world a better place with Sam by his side. The thought of Dean put me in a reminiscent phase for the moment.

Joanna will be home from school soon. We're still in San Francisco, but it's temporary. Hopefully I can find a good place to start over with her. I heard a familiar jingle. Skype. Which meant.. Dean. I clicked the option that said answer with video.

"Hi." He said, the corners of his mouth perking up into a smile. I smiled sweetly. "Hi, Dean. How have you been?" I replied. He let out a deep sigh. "Honestly, I miss you two like crazy, But it's been pretty good considering.." He trailed off. I understood.

"Yeah. " I replied. "You?" He asked. "Honestly.. I miss you so much, I can't even begin to describe it. Joanna. Well.. Where do I start? She refuses pie. She only wants to have pie with you." I said, scrolling through houses in Kansas.

"That bad, huh?" He asked. Sam entered the room. He walked into the picture. "Hi, Anna." He greeted. I waved. "Hi, Sam." I said and he left the frame. Weirdo.

"Anyways. I continued my search for houses today." I continued. "Yeah? Any luck narrowing your search?" He asked. "Yeah. I found a state. Kansas." I said. Dean made a confusing look. I couldn't tell whether he was happy or what. "Nothing?" I asked. "Sorry. It's just.. Sam and I grew up in Kansas. Lotta memories." He replied.

"So no Kansas?" I asked, trying to clarify. I stared at his face. "No..no. You shouldn't let me stop you from moving there. I haven't claimed it or anything. If you want to, sure. Show me where you've been looking." He replied.

I sent him a link to the website. The house  was beautiful. It was two stories. 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms. A nice fenced in back yard. A nice park within walking distance. Schools with amazing ratings. A nearby lake that is so beautiful in the pictures. We could go fishing.

He stared at the screen. I could see the reflection. "Lawrence?" He questioned, under his breath. I furrowed my eyebrows.

He noticed. "What?" I asked. "Sam and I grew up in Kansas." Dean said, as if that meant something more. "And?" I beckoned him to continue. "Do you like this place? What are the school ratings? Are you sure you want to move here?" Dean asked, rapid fire.

"Slow down, Speedy Gonzalez.. I do like this place. The school ratings are 4/5 stars. Since when have you cared about school ratings? Never mind that. I don't know if that's what I want. Joanna has to have a say in it. You do too." I explained.

Joanna walked through the front door. She threw her backpack down. She looked frustrated and she walked into the living room huffing and puffing. "What's wrong, pumpkin?" I asked, directing my attention over to her.

"The teacher wrote a bad note in my agenda. She said I was talking too much in class and that I wasn't listening to her lesson. " Joanna explained, clearly exasperated. "Were you?" I asked, keeping one eye on Dean.

"No. I'm the quietest one in class. She's just a meanie and hates me." Joanna said. I wanted to laugh at Joanna's accusations, but that wouldn't be appropriate.

"You tell your teacher that your old man is going to have a talk with her." Dean shouted from the computer. Joanna came rushing over into my lap to see for herself. "Daddy!" She exclaimed. All it took was Dean to make her go from angry to angel in 0.5 seconds.
