- Gavin's POV -

[F/N] gives a nod to answer my question, sitting back on the couch and paying his lap. I lay on the couch, resting my head on the man's lap and closing my eyes, more than relaxed. [F/N]'s hand instantly goes to my hair, running his fingers through it, only relaxing me further.

"Gav... Do you maybe... Want to sleep with me usually? I actually slept better last night." [F/N] questions, sounding hesitant but also sure of what he was asking. I roll onto my back, looking up at him and thinking it over. "I wouldn't be apposed, I slept enough," I mumble, closing my eyes for a second when the other male's fingers go through my hair again. When I open them again, I see [F/N] gazing down at me with a smile. "You seem to be doing a little better, Gav..." He says softly, making me furrow my eyebrows, giving a slight nod. "I suppose I feel a little better since... Well, you listened."

He wasn't wrong, I wasn't feeling as low as I was before I came here but I didn't feel better. It still weighed on me at every moment I had alone with my thoughts, every time I looked at the marks he left on me. It wasn't as if I was magically going to come to terms with what happened or think highly of myself because someone believed me, it was going to take time. And I was okay with that. I had conquered the first step and now it was building up to the next one's.

I didn't realise, but I had been gazing up at [F/N] while I was thinking. He had his mind focused on the TV that had turned on at some point whereas I was just drinking in his appearance. Just like before, I can't help but think he's attractive, he's was beautiful, although I would never admit it out loud. I haven't looked at anyone with such interest in such a long time that I had completely shoved down that side of me - the side of me that let myself find people attractive. But I also have to admit that it wasn't the outside that drags me toward this man, it was just... How caring and soft he was, it killed me in the best ways possible. The fact that he cares... I won't ever understand why but I won't ever be able to thank him enough.

"Gav, you're staring at me..." [F/N]'s voice drags me out of my thoughts. "Sorry, I was thinking..." I mumble, stretching and letting out a soft yawn before looking at the man again. [F/N] looks at me with a soft smile, running his fingers through my hair before letting them lightly travel down my cheek, making me furrow my eyebrows in confusion but I don't pull away, wanting to see what [F/N] would so. He lets them run down my jaw before moving his hand away, just leaving me baffled.

"What was that?" I ask, tilting my head a little to look at him. "You need to shave." He responds, chuckling and making me scrunch up my face, sit up and get up. I wander off down the hall, grabbing my razor before going into the bathroom. I fill the sink and glance around, not seeing any shaving cream.

"[F/N], do have any shaving cream?" I hear his footsteps enter the room before he opens a cabinet, taking some out and placing it beside the sink. He ruffled my hair before leaning against the door frame. "Can I check your back afterwards?" He asks, making me hesitate before I nod, seeing no point in arguing over anything. I rub some cream on my face before beginning to shave, soon wiping it clean and dry. [F/N] steps over to me, grabbing my jaw gently and snorting.

"You have such a baby face... Oh my God..." He mutters, making me glare at him. "I do not..." I protest, pulling away to look in the mirror, running my hands over my cheeks and not really seeing what he means. "I don't have a baby face, you have more of a babyface than me, kid," I grunt out before looking at [F/N] who was grinning. "Gav, I'm messing with you..." He says, chuckling before walking over to me. He grabs the bottom of my shirt, gently sliding it up and I give him a weird look, wondering what the fuck he was doing. "I want to check your back." He mumbles, tugging my shirt off and placing it to the side.

[F/N]'s hands to turn me around, and I assume he's looking at my back. He runs his fingers down the centre of my spine, making me shiver at his touch. He soon runs his fingers over my lower back, making me jerk away a slight bit but unlike the last time, it didn't make that huge surge of anxiety flood through me. [F/N]'s hands were anything like Conan's, his were so cold and harsh while [F/N]'s were so warm and tender.

"Can I treat the others too?" I eventually hear. [F/N] obviously wanted to and who was I to say 'no' after all he's done for me? I give a slight nod while the other detective grabs something from his cabinet, putting some on his hands and then rubbing it into my back, massaging it as he does so. I feel all the tension leave my muscles under [F/N]'s hands, his palms and thumbs digging into those sore parts so perfectly that I can't stop the slight groan that leaves me.

"Feeling a little better?" He mumbles, breath hitting my ear as he speaks, making my breath hitch the tiniest bit. I nod once more, letting my head fall back against his shoulder as his hands move all across my back, making me slump against him a little more. His hands slide around to my sides before going to my stomach, making it jolt a little at the touch. I hadn't even realised that he wasn't even applying anything to the scars and wounds, he was just running his fingers over my stomach and up to my chest. I bite the inside of my cheek, tilting my head back a little and humming deeply at the feeling. I could feel the male's breath brushing against the side of my neck and it send another shiver through me, completely lost in the feeling.

- [F/N]'s POV -

I was surprised by how soft Gavin's skin was, considering the state it was in. I knew I was only supposed to be treating his back but the groan the male let out only pushed me to take it a little further. Even though Gavin wasn't the weight he was supposed to me, he was a little underweight but I couldn't help but like what I saw. I could only imagine how damn perfect he would be if he was healthy (not that his physical appearance was all I was attracted to).

My hands travel over his torso and I can feel the man shivering against me, leaning against my chest and shoulder.

"Can I try something?" I ask, looking at Gavin through the mirror, his eyes half opened as he gives a nod. I lean in, lightly letting my lips press against his shoulder, praying it didn't make him uncomfortable but that seemed to shake him from whatever the hell was just happening. He spins to look at me, swallowing thickly.

"Thanks." He mumbles, picking up his shirt and tugging it on, walking out of the room and leaving me in a weird mood. I was surprised he was comfortable with most of that but I most certainly wasn't complaining. I wash my hands before going and seeing Gavin in the kitchen, taking his tablets. He then spots me and quickly turns to the fridge, opening it.

"Can I cook tonight?" He inquires, taking out a couple of things before placing them on the counter. "As long as I can help," I smirk a tiny bit when he rolls his eyes but he doesn't argue, handing me a packet of peppers and muttering "Fine, dice them." I wander to the sink, washing them before glancing at Gavin who takes out his phone, putting on some music. It was surprisingly heavier than I thought his music taste would be but I wasn't going to say anything, seeing how it relaxed him.

I soon finish chopping the peppers, while Gavin does something unexpected, he peeks over my shoulder, resting his chin on it, "Are they nearly ready?" He asks, looking at me. When I turn my head to look at him, my head lightly rests against his. He lifts his eyebrows a tiny bit, eyes glancing down to my lips as I speak. "Yeah, they're ready..." I mutter, glancing at his lips as well. He nods, leaning around me and scooping them up in his hands before adding them to what he was cooking. I clear my throat and step back, watching as Gavin just focuses on what he's doing.

I begin thinking to myself if these moments keep happening, how am I going to live with this man so easily? I can't keep having all these moments where things are so close yet so far.

"Gavin, where can't you be touched..?" I ask, making Gavin turn his gaze to me. "Uhh... Honestly, nowhere. But I suppose it depends on the intention and who is doing it... Being touched in general is.. Uncomfortable but if someone is being sexual, I can't handle it." He admits, making me nod a little bit before I can reply, he continues

"But how you touch me, it's... Relaxing."

"Then should I do it more?"

"..."

- Hmm, I'm not sure if I progressed this a little too much but I'll work with it.
