Mystik and Slayer were on their way to Ozpin's office with Emerald and Mercury to expose them. The elevator doors opened and Ozpin looked at the guardians and the criminals.
Ozpin: Is there something I can help you with?
Mystik's visor turned red as he stepped out of the elevator.
Mystik: We need to talk.
Mystik explained to Ozpin everything that Emerald and Mercury told him. Ozpin remained calm but was fuming at the thought of it.
Ozpin: When is this happening?
After he asked, the emergency alarm went off.
Announcement: Alert. Incoming Grimm attack. Threat level: Nine. Please seek shelter in a calm and orderly manner.
They all looked out the window to see an army of Grimm storming the grounds.
Ozpin: You two go help the students, I'll take these two into custody.
Without a second thought, Mystik and Slayer jumped out of the window of the castle. A Nevermore flew around the side and headed towards them with it's mouth open, ready to eat them. Mystik used his ice plasmid to freeze the Nevermore in a block of ice and Slayer shot it with his rocket launcher causing the frozen Nevermore to shatter into pieces.
A Griffon came around the other side. Slayer pushed himself towards it and began firing his heavy machine gun. Slayer collided with the Griffon and began punching it.
Mystik saw a group of students were cornered by an Ursa and pushed himself downwards to fall faster. Just as the Ursa lunged at the students, Mystik landed on the Ursa, raised his right foot and stomped on its head causing it to shatter. Mystik looked up at the students.
Mystik: Hello there.
The Griffon landed behind Mystik with Slayer on top of it as he used his wrist blade to slice open its chest and ripped it open with his bare hands.
Behind Slayer, the Grimm army approached and roared at the group.
Mystik: Slayer, I'll get these kids to safety, buy us time.
Slayer pumped his shotgun

On the other side of Beacon, Y/N was fighting a Beringel.

The Beringel tried to slam its fists down on Y/N only for the ninja to back step out of reach and decapitate the gorilla.
Y/N looked up and saw a lone figure standing on the roof. He was wondering what they were doing up there until a lightning flashed in the night sky behind the figure and Y/N saw who it was.
Y/N: Adam?
Adam stood there and watched while the Grimm attacked the school. Y/N was about to run to confront him when he heard sword clashing and gun firing. He looked over to see Blake and Yang holding off a horde of Grimm.
