Y/N was jumping from rooftop to rooftop in the dead of night on his way to the park to meet with Momiji. He jumped on top of a flagpole that overlooked the park. From the corner of his eye, he saw four men dragging Momiji into a dark alleyway and followed via rooftop.
In the alleyway, two thugs were dragging a screaming Momiji while one lead the way and the last one made sure no one was following.
Momiji: (screaming) SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!
The thug in the front turned around to backhand Momiji.
Thug Leader: Shut up you little bitch!
Momiji stopped screaming and they continued deeper into the alley. They eventually crossed a pitch black intersection and the last one was pulled into the intersection.
The three men turned to see that their friend was missing.
Thug 1: Where's Boris?
Thug 2: Probably just had to take a piss.
The thug leader grabbed Momiji
Thug Leader: You two stand guard and make sure we're not interrupted.
The thug leader escorted Momiji to the side of the alley and pinned her against the wall. He pulled out a knife and waved it in her face.
Thug Leader: Don't worry your pretty little head. This won't hurt one little bit.
Suddenly, a chain blade swooped down from above and sliced his hand off. The thug let go off Momiji, grabbed his severed wrist and screamed in agony. The same chain came back, wrapped around his leg and pulled him into the darkness above while he continued screaming and then sudden silence.
A couple seconds later, the man's blood and severed limbs rained from above. Momiji, horrified by the sight, turned the corner to run away only to encounter the bodies of the other two thugs with shurikens embedded in their faces.
Momiji took a step back only to bump into someone. She turned around to see Y/N in his combat outfit.
Y/N: You ok?
Momiji: Y/N?
Y/N pulled down his mask and gave Momiji a friendly smile.
Momiji: You killed them?
Y/N: Let that be your first lesson; in combat, you do whatever it takes to stay alive and don't show your enemies any mercy because they will have none for you.
Momiji: I.... thank you.
Y/N: You're welcome, come on let's go before somebody notices.
Y/N offered Momiji his hand. She gently took it and he threw down a smoke bomb and lead her away.
(Time skip)
A couple hours later, Y/N had been teaching Momiji in hand to hand combat. Like Y/N on his first day with Adam, Momiji learned and adapted quickly. The student had become the teacher and was now sparring with his new apprentice.
