"WE HAVE TO GO AFTER THAT SHIP," KATARA DEMANDED, staring out into the sea with tears pricking her eyes. Behind her back, Jing-hai and Sokka eyed one another knowingly. It wasn't a case of if they were going after that ship or not. It was when. Sokka may have poor judgement at times, but he was nothing if not without honour. He couldn't let the boy sacrifice himself for them and get nothing in return. It wasn't in his blood. "Aang saved our tribe; now we have to save him."
"Katara, I—" Sokka began when she cut him off.
"Why can't you realize that he's on our side? If we don't help him, no one will. I know you don't like Aang, but we owe him and I—"
"Katara!" Sokka yelled. "Are you gonna talk all day or are you coming with us?"
The girl spun around to see her brother motioning to the canoe by their side. Jing-hai was packing the bags. And when she was reminded of just how much she loved them, Katara rushed forwards to tackle them into a hug. She gasped happily and Sokka swatted her away.
