Kef Bir was beautiful, Rey decided as she and Cade walked across the grassy field to the edge where the remains of the Death Star laid in the ocean. She glared at Cade, and spoke harshly, "It better be there."

Cade nodded.

Rey used the dagger and pulled the point on the end of its hilt revealing an indicator and matched it to the entrance of the Death Star. She now knew where to find the Wayfinder.

"State your name and your business!" A woman called out, sitting upon a four-legged stead and aiming her gun. Not too long, a few more riders rallied behind their leader.

"I'm Rey, and I'm with the Resistance. This is Cade."

"I'm Jannah," said the rider, as she lowered her weapon. "Why is the Resistance way out here?"

"I need to get to the Death Star," Rey answered. "It's urgent. Please help us. Our ship is incapacitated at the moment." And it was. The old hyperdrive fried the circuits to the reactor, and now they were stranded.

Jannah seemed to be thinking about it, forming creases on her brown brow as she observed them carefully. Then she said, "You'll need a skiff. But even the most skilled can't get to the Death Star on those waves. Come, you two must be hungry. We'll wait until the waves calm down."

"Starving actually," said Cade. He followed Jannah and as did Rey much to her displeasure.

A small encampment came into view and Jannah got off her steed and welcomed the newcomers into a pavilion. Cade sat down on a crate as Jannah gave him a bowl of soup. "Thank you," he said.

Rey on the other hand stood, folding her arms across her chest. She noticed the goods with First Order symbols on it. "You're not native to this planet, are you?" She asked.

"We were Storm Troopers," Jannah answered. "But on our first mission we laid down our weapons and refused to fire upon innocent civilians. It's hard to explain. It was like something convinced us to. A feeling."

"The Force," Rey smiled, as she recalled Finn had done the same thing. She missed him dreadfully, and the others as well. Her sudden loneliness made her think about her parents, and her anger returned. "I'm sorry. I need some air." She quickly exited the pavilion and took a deep breath. Tears burned her eyes, as she clenched her fists together.

"Rey?" Ben stood before her as if he was really there, but she knew they were stars apart.

"I know what happened to my family," said Rey.
