Chapter 21

I had to resist the urge to shout for help, but I provoked them, I gotta deal with it. I ran in the open, I stopped, Anna and Liz were coming at me, Liz's hair flying behind her, and Anna's braid being pressed to her shoulder by the wind. I had to fight them, they stopped 5 feet in front of me.
"You scared Mack? Huh? You should be." Anna said tauntingly, I put my fists up protecting my upper half, I was scared. 'Be Brave. Remember, be the old Mack.' I closed my eyes to relax, when I opened them, I narrowed my eyebrows. Anna through a punch, aimed at my jaw, she missed. Her and Liz were on the same side of me, Liz kicked me in the gut, I didn't bend over in pain. Although it burned like fire.
'Suck it up Mack. Memories...Just step forward and-' step forward...step forward! People step before the punch! Yes, I removed something, Anna stepped and started to move her fist toward my face, I put my hand up to block it. I turned away, and closed my eyes...no pain. I looked and saw my hand firmly gripped around her wrist, I had grabbed it...awesome! I ram weed something...it was on the edge of my brain but the images were twisted. Twisted! The arm twist! One of my moves! I...remember! I twisted her arm back and kicked her side, she best over and I punched a spot in the back of her neck. She fell forward unconscious, that was a pressure point, I tempered that too! All the was left was Liz, poor weak, defenseless Liz. I couldn't fight her...she's too...I don't know. She must've seen I was distracted because she punched my nose! I grabbed it, it hurt, I looked at my hand, blood. I ignored it, she tried to kick me but I grabbed her foot and pulled her down on her back! I didn't want her Unconcious so I just put my foot on her stomach lightly, I looked at her, she looked angry but scared.
"Liz, I didn't mean any of that that I said. I just needed to trigger some memories." Her eyes widened, and then she smiled alittle,
"Good. Cause I let you win." I laughed, yeah right. She seemed like she was slowly getting better. Anna though...i realized the crowd of people around me...crowd...when I did my physical and mental tests...I was in a crowd...and Thomas was there! And two other people, I don't know who though, I think the girl was...Teresa. I remembered all my fighting skills, my plans...my smarts! Incredible, it's like my brain just absorbed a million things!!! I loved it, the feeling of having something to fill the empty space. I sighed, relived. I remember. But I noticed Ella had a Machete in hand, Geo with rope, and Rosie with a torch.
