Chapter 35
"Kai, ayoko na. Ilipat mo na..." she said as she wiped her tears. I smiled and joined her sitting in the couch. She's watching Your Lie In April.
"Akala ko ba gusto mo manood ng anime?"
"Eh ang sakit naman ng mangyayari ata eh," reklamo niya. She's so cute while she's pouting her lips. Namumula na rin ang kanyang ilong at mata pero walang luha, marahil pinipigilan niya ang umiyak.
"Wala pa nga eh."
"Kahit na! Sabi mo mamamatay si ano..." ugh! Bakit ba ang ganda ng girlfriend ko?
"Okay. Ilipat na natin. Ano bang gusto mo?" tanong ko sana kinuha ang remote.
"Masyado na ata tayong matanda para manood ng ganyan?" she said. Nilingon ko siya.
"Wow, coming from you..." I mumbled.
"Bakit?" she innocently said.
"Sabi mo sa akin dati kahit sino p'wedeng manood ng anime. No matter what gender, or age, it's for all because you can be able to learn lessons from those."
Napakurap-kurap siya sa sinabi ko.
"You get mad at me everytime I say that animes are for kids only." Nagalit siya sa akin noon dahil doyan, hindi niya ako kinausap buong araw dahil sa sinabi kong pambata ito. Damn, simula ng araw na iyon nanood na nga ako ng anime! And she's right though, I learned many things, and realized some realities.
"Oh, well. Sige na nga, manonood na lang ako ng iba. Akin na 'yang remote!"
It's already a month since we became a couple again. I smirked, couple. I took a leave from my work for a month because of her and now I don't think I will ever leave her again.
"Aalis na ako sa trabaho ko..." sabi ko sa kanya. Nagulat siya sa sinabi ko at saka ako binalingan. She became more matured—in any aspects, but what I love the most is her attitude and the way she thinks.
"Bakit naman?"
"I will stay here." I clung unto her waist. Itinabon ko sa balikat niya ang mukha ko. I will never ever get tired smelling her scent.
She groaned, "Huwag na! Sayang naman 'yong trabaho mo doon. Ang laking kompanya kaya iyon!"
"But I want to stay here..." giit ko.
"Magta-trabaho naman na rin ako, Kai..." oh right, marami na pala nago-offer sa kanya after she passed boards.
