Chapter 22

"I love you, Zarah." Isang boses ng lalaki ang narinig ko. Where am I? Why's everything white? I saw a light. Nakakasilaw. Ang sakit sa mata. Where am I?

"Please wait for me." I shook my head. Who is he?

"This is for us." I looked around but there's no other person here, no other than me.

Suddenly, I heard a voice of a girl.

"Gusto ko lang naman ang makasama ka. Bakit pati ikaw umalis din? I am so lonely again. I am all alone again. But you know what? I love you. I love you so much so I will wait for you."

"Please wait for me..."

"I promise."

The voices were gone. Hindi ko pa rin alam kung saan nanggagaling iyon. Puro kulay puti at napakaliwanag ng mga nakikita ko. Am I dreaming? What happened?

"Zarah wake up."

Huh? Why? Where am I?

"Anak please..." a voice of a woman cracked. Is she crying? Who is she?

What? Why? What's happening?

White.

I blinked twice and tried to close my eyes. My body is aching. I feel tired. Other than that, I feel like... I slept for too long.

I opened again my eyes. White.

Where am I?

I scanned around me. I saw some faces—some unfamiliar faces. Who are they? My eyes widened because I can't recognize them. I don't know them. I gulped and my lips parted as it trembles. Oh my god?! Who are they?!

A woman stood up from her seat then she went near me. I quickly stood up too but I think I am too weak to do that. Damn! What's happening?! There are some bruises on my hand. May kung anong aparato na nakakabit sa katawan ko.

"Robert, call the Doctor," the woman said. She came near to my bed.

"S-sino ka?" I cried. I saw how her eyes widened. She looked surprised. Damn, who is she? What am I doing here? No! Why can't I remember anything?!

"Sino ka?" pag-uulit ko. Ang mga mata ng babae ay nanunubig. Sakto rin ang dating ng lalaking kasama niya kanina at isa pang lalaki.

The Doctor attended me and suddenly I got panicked.

"Sino kayo?" I cried.
