As No. 7 and the large man from the driver's seat stepped into the bosses office. The beautiful lady sitting in the chair at the end of the room looked up at them with her feet on the desk.
"So?" The lady asked. They both nodded and the lady sighed. No. 7 felt that something was a little off with the boss because she usually was ecstatic whenever anything happened.
"No. 7," she addressed the seventeen year old boy, "you have a new job. And, well, it's a bit different than usual." When he heard that No. 7 obviously was very eager to see what kind of new fun awaited him so he looked into the bosses eyes (well he tried to but she was trying to avoid his overly excited gaze).
"This is something that I personally wanted for you. I think that you need a break from all the killing." Then her usually strong voice started mumbling, "so, I decided that you should go to school."
The silence that hung over the room was only broken when the largeman started shaking from trying to hold in his laughter (he failed). The boy looked at the man scornfully.
"Shut it, No. 4," the boy said, "you can't even qualify as a getaway driver, so you'll probably just become my chauffeur for school anyway." At this No. 4 turned in the direction of the boss.
"Um, well, actually... I thought it was an excellent idea for you to become his chauffeur because you two got along quite well." the bosses words got quieter and quieter as she said this. Afterwards, both assassins by the door burst out in laughter.
Wheezing, No. 7 said incredulously, "You're sending your best assassin to school?" The assassins thought the boss was only joking but when she nodded at this, they both fell silent. Then No. 7 started shaking his head, "No. There is no way I'm going. I couldn't go anyway because I haven't gone to elementary or middle school."
No. 7 knew that that was the worst excuse at the moment but he couldn't even find the right words to prove his point. "No. 7, I have three things to say. One, you have been home schooled. Two, your name is now Jack. And three, your goal is to graduate high school after being there for two years."
Seeing that the boss was not wavering, No. 7 just gave up and walked to his room. He tried to stomp but after all his training of being silent, the most he could do was make light stepping sounds.
