Jack's mind went blank for a second. Then he realized where he was and asked the principle to repeat what he had just said.

"A dorm, Mr. Hopperton. We are going to put you in a four person dorm." Jack just nodded silently and asked for directions to his new room. The principle smiled brighter and handed him a paper with the key and the number of the dorm room.

Jack left and went to the dorm building which was directly behind the academy's main building and across the backyard. As he walked into the hall which had a dorm door every ten feet, he looked at the number on the paper. 3565.

"3560...3562...3564..." He mumbled, and then reached his destination and walked into the room. There were already three people in the room, talking among themselves while sitting at their respective desks. The dorm room had four beds and four desks underneath the beds, two of the beds on each side of the room were connected so Jack was going to be sleeping with his head right next to someone else's head.

The other three people turned towards his direction and smiled at him. Then after realizing who he was and after hearing the rumors that had already spread about his scars two out of the three of them quickly looked away. The third one however walked over to Jack with a smile and held out his hand.

"Hey! My name is Ray Yerschervich. It's nice to meet you." Jack shook his hand thinking about where he had heard the name Yerchervich before. "Nice to meet you too. I'm Jack. Jack Hopperton. I'm new here so treat me kindly, please." Returning Ray's smile Jack noticed that Ray was reasonably handsome.

He had light brown hair and he was pretty frail looking, like he wouldn't be able to lift ten books before falling down. But he was lanky either, so it made him look like a thin pretty boy. One of the other roommates looked like a thug with his bright green hair and pierced lip. His uniform wasn't put on correctly and his tie was crooked. He was looking at Jack like he wanted to kill him which made Jack smirk at him. This caused him to stand up and walk over.

He pushed Ray aside and stood in front of Jack. Before even saying anything he tried to grab Jack's collar to look threatening, but Jack snatched his wrist and held it tightly. The other boy's eyes widened in surprise and he tried to take back his hand, but Jack's grip was so tight he couldn't move.

"Hello. I'm Jack. Jack Hopperton. It's nice to meet you." Jack said with warmth in his voice, but his gaze was as cold as ice. The thug was finally able to yank back his arm when Jack loosened his grip and then he proceeded to walk back towards his bed.

The last person in the room had a small smile on his face. His eyes were bigger than an average males and his face was very feminine. He was small and skinny, making Jack wonder about the true gender of this roommate.

"Sorry for the late introduction", the boy said, "My name is Alex Harrison. I've heard about you from my friend. They said you had all sorts of scars on your back." He said this with a questioning tone. Obviously doubting if this was true or not.

When he said it, the other two in the room went still. They had also heard the rumors of course, but to actually mention it on the first day of meeting. Jack stilled at the mention of his scars, but a second later he smiled again.

"Your friend is indeed correct. I got into many accidents when I was young. It's nice to meet you Alex. I hope we can get along well." Jack's response left doubt in everyone's eyes. From what they heard, he had scars so long and massive that there was no way someone could survive from that. And people had said that some of the scars were still pink and recent.

After introductions Jack went to the remaining desk, which was right besides the punk's desk. Jack sat down and began all the homework that the teachers had given him, even though they were due in a week.
