Alex had been fearing this moment the entire 2 years he had been on the run. The moment the assassins finally found him. His entire family had been killed by them and by some miracle Alex had survived.
The assassins grabbed him and tied him up, but then, as soon as they were about to take him, another assassin appeared out of nowhere and knocked out the leader, while killing the other assassins in the group.
When Alex saw the other assassin untie him, he felt a shiver of hope. But it soon disappeared when the assassin grabbed him and shoved him in a car along with the leader. They were in the car for roughly half an hour before they stopped.
When they got out, the assassin reached out his hand and pulled Alex out of the car. Then, the assassin grabbed the leader and walked towards the mansion that was ahead. When the assassin walked about 30 feet he stopped and looked back at Alex.
Alex, then realizing that he had nowhere to go anyway, followed the assassin towards the mansion. When they reached the entrance, the assassin pushed open the door. The inside of the mansion was filled with light and noise. There were ten other assassins inside, and they were all sitting at a big table while chatting about various things.
Alex had a strange feeling that he had seen these people before, but it was impossible to tell when they all had masks on. Suddenly, the lady at the head of the table looked at Alex. The lady's voice was neat and clean as she addressed the assassin next to Alex, "No. 7, do you care to explain why you have brought a high school boy and another assassin of our guild here unconscious."
When Alex heard this his insides churned uncomfortably. I thought this assassin saved me. But they were from the same guild? Then the assassin spoke, "This assassin isn't from our guild, they were in the school. And they were planning on either capturing or killing this student."
The lady's eyebrows shot up. "Really? Well, I want to eat and having guests means that we can't take off our masks. Why don't we just torture the assassin and kill the student." The other assassin simply nodded and turned towards Alex.
"W- Wait! I can't go back to school anyway, so why don't you just keep me here. I know how to fight so I can help you with things. And I won't be able to tell anyone anything here anyway." Alex sputtered out in surprise. The assassin next to her turned to look at the lady.
"No. 7," The lady started. "Why are you hesitant. It can't be that you actually don't want to kill him is it?" When the lady asked that the so-called No. 7 looked at the ground. This made Alex very surprised. Why wouldn't this assassin want to kill him? They had no connection anyway.
Then the lady said, "Fine. Student, you will be doing Household chores. Be thankful that the emotionless bot has taken a liking to you. No. 7, I don't want anyone to be tortured tonight, we have a new family member. Just stick him in the dungeon. Change your clothes as well, we're having a family dinner tonight."
Alex couldn't digest what he was hearing fast enough. He looked back and forth between the mysterious lady and No. 7. But then No. 7 just left with the leader and went down a hallway. Alex looked back at the other assassins, but all of them except the lady had left to "Change clothes".
The lady just nodded her head at Alex and pointed to a seat near the end of the table. Alex had noticed that all the chairs at the table had numbers except for the one the lady had sat at. The lady's chair had the words 'The Boss' on it, while all the other chairs had numbers 1-12. Alex was currently sitting in chair number 12.

Jack, after putting the other assassin in the dungeon, went to change his clothes. He wore a black suit and tie, with black dress shoes. His hair was slicked back and his demeanor had turned into a gentlemen's demeanor.
As he walked into the dining room he saw Alex sitting in chair No. 12. Alex turned around and when he saw Jack his eyes went wider than ever.
"Jack? What are you doing here? Don't you know that assassins live here?" His genuine concern showed on his face. Jack just smiled lightly as if Alex had just made a small joke and sat at chair No. 7.
For about five minutes they sat in silence, Alex looking at Jack the entire time. Then all of Jack's 'siblings' started entering the room. And last but not least, the Boss. Sitting at their arranged seats, almost the entire table was full, minus chair No. 11.
The Boss finally spoke, "Well, student, what's your name?" At this Alex flinched in surprise and built up anxiety that had finally come out in a long sigh.
"Um, well, I'm... I mean, My name is Alex. Alex Harr- Sorry. My name is Alex Lepertu. My family was killed by assassins so I've been on the run since then." Alex stammered. Jack's piercing gaze was cutting into her skin like small knives.
The boss spoke again, "That's nice. How about we all introduce ourselves then. And remember everyone, include your code name that you use on missions. For example, I'm The Boss. I don't have a code name, but you can call me mother when we are outside the house." The blue haired boy snickered.
The brother who was called Tony at the event went next. "Nice to see you again. My name is No. 1. My code name is Tony." Then the rest of the people at the table followed suit.
"Hey, I'm No. 2. Code name is Wendy."
"No. 3. Code name Priscilla."
"It's very nice to meet you, Alex. My name is No. 4. My code name is John. I hope we can get along well." The big guy was surprisingly nice.
"No. 5, My code name is Markov. If you ever want to learn how to make guns, you come to me." Markov's heavy accent made his nice offer sound terrifying.
"Bonjour, mon amis. My name is No. 6. But you may call me Eugene anytime you would like." So it seemed the flirty attitude wasn't a front at all.
When Jack's turn he smirked and said, "No. 7. Code name Jack. Hope you don't die." This other side of Jack caught Alex by surprise and the sarcastic way Jack had said that made Alex slightly infuriated.
"Hello. My name is No. 8. My code name is Mark."
"Kekekeke..." The little blue haired boy seemed to not be able to stop laughing as he said, "Name's No. 9...huu haha... code name is... pfft hahaha... Peter..." And when he finally said his introduction he just giggled for the rest of dinner a little more quietly.
"My name is No. 10. My code name is Anne-Marie, but only those who prove themselves are allowed to call me that. For example, Jack, Eugene, and Wendy. Because they are the strongest." The people listed as the strongest surprised Alex. He would never have expected Eugene to be strong. I mean it made sense for Jack to be strong, but for him to be the strongest...
