Chapter 7

Kenmas PoV

I woke up and looked at my bedside table only to realize Shouyos phone was gone.

I guess he took it at night when I was asleep

I walked down the stairs to confront Shouyo about the message Kageyama sent.

Topic: Punishment

Boke! Meet me, tanaka, noya, tsukki and yama at the usual place and time. You need to get some punishment for being late at training camp.

What does he mean..punishment?

I heard a door slam shut and looked towards the bathroom only to see the door closed.

I sighed and walked to the door out of my house, opened it and closed it again.

I hear the bathroom door open and look at the read head.

„I thought you would come out when I was out." I told him with a smirk

He flinched and turned around looking me in the eyes.

„K-k-kenma..I thought you were out for school.."

„Yea, no I will skip today. Now tell me what's up with the message Kageyama sent you at night?"

„O-oh he p-probably sent it to the wrong person" he answered scratching the back of his neck.

„Oh really? As much as I know he only calls you boke and no one else."

Shouyo looked down after I finished my sentence. I sighed walking over to him.

I grab his arm and pull him into my chest, hugging him.

„K-k-kenma..? What a-are you d-doing..?"

I kissed him on his head and grab his chin with my hand for him to look up to me.

„Shouyo, I don't know what the message means but I hope this is some sick joke with the punishment. If it's not I'm going to steal you away from Karasuno and you'll transfer to Nekoma." I said with a soft expression

He hugged me back and snuggled his head into my chest.

I let out a chuckle and pull him even closer, if that's even possible.

We stand there for what felt like 1 minute but as I looked at the watch behind him I realized we were hugging for almost an entire hour.

„Shouyo, we're hugging each other for almost an hour now. You wanna move to bed and cuddle or wanna talk about the message?" I asked, feeling my face getting hotter at the second part of my sentence.

He looked up and looked tired, I picked him up bridal style and carry him into my bedroom. I lay him on my bed and crawl next to him, cover us in a blanket and pull him to my chest again.

„That's nice" I heard him mumble before I heard soft snores coming from him.

I nodded in agreement and pulled him even closer, letting sleep get over me.

I woke up an hour later and opened my eyes only to see the bed empty.

Where did he go?

I looked at the time and saw it was only 9 am, we still had time till 5 pm and then he has to go to the train station.

I lazily and slowly walked down the stairs only to be hit by the best smell I ever smelt.

I walked toward it and saw Shouyo standing at the stove. I leaned against a wall and just stared at him.

„You just left me in bed alone, it was cold y'know?" I said a bit sad

He jumped at my voice and threw a fork at me. I quickly dodged and looked at him with wide eyes.

„Don't sneak up on me...gosh" he said turning back to the stove.

I stared at him still with wide eyes but then broke into laughter.

He blushed and turned towards me, a spatula in his hand.

„Stop. laughing. or. I. will. throw. this. spatula. at. you." he told me while glaring

I couldn't take him serious and laughed even harder. I saw him raise his hand at the corner of my eye and quickly ran out of the kitchen.

„I SWEAR I'LL GET REVENGE KENMA!" he screamed

Now I really was scared

I slowly made my way back to the kitchen to find him still standing at the stove. He turned it off and put some food on two plates. He placed them on the table, walked to the fridge, pulled out orange juice and poured it in two different sized cups. I guess the bigger one was for him cause I don't drink very much.

„Come here and stop staring." he looked at me

I pulled myself off the wall, walked to the table and took my seat beside him.

We ate and god it was delicious.

„Shouyo I didn't know you could cook. It's so good" I said almost drooling.

He blushed a bit at my compliment „thank you."

We got up washed our dishes and decided to watch a film together.

After a few films it was 4pm and Shouyo got up telling me he was going to get ready so we could leave at 5.

He walked into the bathroom and I think turned on the shower, cause I heard water running.

I was so curious about the message, I know it's bad to look at other people phones but I don't want Shouyo to get hurt.

I took his phone and looked through his messages.

Nothing suspicious maybe Kageyama really did sent it to the wrong person

I wasn't too sure about it but didn't want to get in their business.

I heard the door open and saw Shouyo walking out in the clothes he came with yesterday.

I too got ready and we left my house.

I lead him to the train station and said my final goodbye.

„I hope I'll see you again!" he said smiling and waving at me

„I hope so too, Shouyo." I said a little smile plastering on my face.

He got onto the train and I watched it drive off.

My smile faded as soon as the train disappeared to the direction of Miyagi.

I still felt bad about the message from Kageyama, I should've pushed Shouyo more to get some answers.

No I couldn't do that, I didn't want to rush him. If he really wanted to tell me he would've told me already.

I think we trust each other..do we?
