Faith was walking down the hallways of the hospital she would soon be calling home, obviously, she was very hesitant about it. Wouldnt you? Her brother who she has not talked to since his wife cheated on him almost 5 years ago, worked in this hospital, she was nervous to see him again, to say the least.
She also knew that her brother's ex-best friend worked here too, maybe they were friends again now though, she didn't know. Jackson Avery, Charles Percy, April Kepner, and Reed Adamson were walking right alongside her as they normally did.
"One of them already hates me." Jackson said to the group as they were walking down the hall, "I almost knocked her over on the way in." the group laughed at him in response as they made their way into the resident's lounge.
Faith could feel the judgey eyes on her, if she said that they didn't bother her, she would be lying. She always hated feeling like the center of attention, give it to someone who wants it. She already felt like an outcast because of the orange scrubs she had on compared to their blue ones.
"Well maybe if you weren't running with your head down like you always do, you would have seen her." Charles replied in a 'duh' tone. Jackson punched him in the arm in response, obviously not liking the reply he received from his best friend.
Faith walked over to the cubbies on the opposite side of the lounge from where the Seattle Grace residents were. She put her bag in one then turned to talk to Jackson who's cubby was right next to hers.
"Oh hey, you cant put that in there." a tall blonde Seattle Grace resident said to Reed.
"Oh, they told us to grab a cubby."
"Yeah I know it's just that... we keep it empty for a reason. Can you just take your stuff out, there are some empty ones over there you can use. "
Reed turned to look at the cubbies where her other friends were, "I don't think so."
"I said take it out."
Reed shoved her bag into her cubby extra hard, "Great I got the crazy one next to me."
That caught the attention of the Mercy Westers, they all turned to see the show.
"Oh you wanna fight, cause I will, I will fight you. You're pretty tiny could take you down in just a couple of seconds." by the end of the little speech she was being pulled back by a different Seattle Grace resident, and she was eventually pushed out of the room.
