Faith was making her way out of the elevator when she heard her best friend yelling, or rather, loudly calling Cristina's name.
"Cristina," Yang didn't respond, "Dr. Yang."
"Dr. Avery."
"Look, okay about the kiss--"
"Kiss, what kiss? There was no kiss."
Jackson looked a bit confused and gave the Korean woman a puzzled glance.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Cristina said trying to get him to go along with what she was saying.
He gave her a look of realization and a small smirk.
Faith tried to hide her disappointment when he turned around and saw her. She gave him a small smile and made her way down the hallway to the resident's lounge.
She walked into the lounge to find Meredith putting her stuff in her designated cubby.
Faith walked to the other side of the room and put her bag into her cubby and started to change into her scrubs.
Faith was a bit nervous, to say the least, she didn't like meeting new people very much, and the fact that this person was very important to her brother just made her more nervous.
When she finished getting her scrubs on she started pulling at her fingers, a common sign that her anxiety was on the rise. But as she noticed she was doing it, she shook her hands out in hopes that the jittery feeling would go away.
Meredith looked over at the younger girl to see this happening. She was a bit worried, and because she was a doctor she knew that this was an occurrence in people who were nervous. Well, anyone would have been able to tell, not just doctors.
The older resident sighed a bit and decided to speak up to her new sister in law.
"Hey."
"Oh uh- hey."
"You don't have to be nervous around me," the dirty blonde said to the brunette with a small comforting smile, "I'm not going to bite your head off,"
Faith giggled a bit, "Yeah, I guess your right." she stuck her hand out, "Faith, nice to finally meet you, Meredith."
Meredith took her hand and shook it. The two women got startled when the door opened to reveal Alex.
Faith had never talked to him, but she had heard his name around the hospital a couple of times.
"Uh- it was nice to meet you, Meredith. I have to go see Robbins." Meredith just responded with a small smile, and Faith made her way out of the room.
