Alice POV I check the time on my phone for the millionth time, getting more impatient by the second. After agreeing to hang out with Daphne, I'm honeslty regretting it last minute.
Whatever. I agreed to it. It won't be that bad, right?
Before I can regret my life choices again, I hear the door next to my room open and close. Finally! I quickly stand up, but before I can open even touch the doorknob, Lila pushes open my door.
"Give me a warning next time!" I growl as she invites herself in. "Oh I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you," Lila says sarcastically as she sits down at my desk. She looks at me and tries to hold back a giggle. "Out of all the things you decide to wear that?" she laughs.

"You're one to talk Lila." I mutter.
She does nothing but rolls her eyes and smiles. "How about we just get to what I have to say?" Lila starts. "I know this is probably a really big favor, but I'd really really really appreciate if you let me borrow your necklace!"
I blink twice. What did she just say? "I'm sorry, can you repeat that?" I ask in astonishment. "Sure thing!" Lila says, all smiles. "I have a really important event coming up! You see this boy asked me out--"
"And I'm guessing it was Adrien?" I ask with a laugh. Now Lila is the one who has to think of what to say. "Obviously! Who else?" she continues. "We weren't really talking that much, but it was because he thought he wasn't good enough for me! Isn't that the sweetest thing? Anyways, he--"
"Oh shut up Lila! What do you want!?" I yell, finally losing my patience with her. Her expression suddenly turns to the one of a puppy who's been kicked too many times.
Lila frowns, before slowly saying, "I know we've had some arguments, but I do really just want to make things right. I really have chance with Adrien! And not gonna lie I kind of want to impress him, so I put this absolutely amazing outfit together with the help of one of your friends! You know Marinette right?"
Is she even speakingEnglish at this point? This is the dumbest thingshe's said by far, she'sdesperate. Mari hates her guts. And make things right? When pigs fly. Does Lila really think I'm that stupid?
I force on a smile and say in a sweet tone,"Oh Lila I'm so sorry, but I'm about to be late! Say, let's talk when I get back in...five hours? Maybe longer. Bye!"
I don't wait for her to respond to my sarcasm. I grab my phone and head straight for my door. Then I turn around. "Oh, and I want you out of my room in ten seconds with nothing touched. Thanks!"
[Park,15 minutes later]
Maybe I should've just stayed and annoyed Lila for a bit longer. I'm currently sitting on one of the benches in the park, waiting for Daphne. I guess it's kinda my fault for being early.
