Nishinoya wanted to kill whatever was making Shoyo feel like this. He tensed for a second, and that made Shoyo tense as well.
"Shhh, shhh, sorry Hinata. It's okay," Nishinoya whispered in his ear. "You're with me, and I won't hurt you. I won't let anyone hurt you."
Shoyo began to calm down once more, and they finally walked inside of Nishinoya's house. Shoyo bent at the waist and said, "ojyama shimasu!"
Nishinoya began to chuckle a little bit.
"The only creature here besides us is my cat, Hinata."
Shoyo sighed a little, thankful that they were alone. They sat down and ate their pork buns and ice cream, but before long the silence ate at the both of them.
"Hina-"
"Shoyo. Please, Shoyo."
"Of course, I can call you whatever you like."
"Thank you," Shoyo said, starting to tear up.
"Can I ask you a question, Shoyo?"
Hinata instinctively flinched, but nodded his head slowly in agreement.
"Are you safe?"
