Welcome to Disney

The place was just too astonishingly big, I couldn't tear my eyes away as we entered and gave in our tickets. Mashallah, Allah has made the earth so beautiful indeed. There were water park entries, and more entries to different places like the real princess castles, stores, and Disney style restaurants. The sun shines bright in our faces as we follow the signs along the trees and the stone pathway to our resort. It is a huge, glass building, that is more wide than tall, displaying the Disney resort name, and the sight startles me.

We the beautiful building aka resort. A woman with a sleek sundress and balzer welcomes us with a white colgate smile. "Welcome, to Disney Land Resort. You will enjoy yourself here. I promise. Now lets get to the counter," she smiles again and leads us into the air conditioned building. the lobby is breathtakingly big with wooden and marbled floors that shine tremendously. There is also a lot of comfortable couches and glass panes windows, and great big chandeliers.

"Talk about Sia." I breathed, examining the chandeliers while Amir smiles at the silly reference. Our moment in the car soon broke, but he was back to his normal self now. Teasing and handsome, not showing his feelings, just being cheeky.

             Hiding his demons.

I shake the thought away. I am no one to him. I cannot expect him to tell me everything when we barely just got married. Soon he will open up to me.

But for now, I have to stick with him.

His mood is good. It's pleasant. And I'm so, so, thankful. I don't care if he decides to shove me away or snap at me or yell at me, or simply run off to a nearby club for drinks. I don't care, because right now, as our fingers nearly touch and our smiles stretch across our face as we examine our beautifully modern and expensive looking resort, there's no other place I'd rather be.

Shelby, her name tag reads, shows us to the elevators at the corner, tucked away, near the swirling marble stairs in the centre of the lobby. We go inside, and I suddenly realize we don't have our luggage.

"Amir, where is our luggage?" I worriedly glance around, and he smiles. Shelby patiently presses the button for the tenth, and, highest floor, and steps back as the elevator slightly lurches and we go up.

"Don't worry, I have it under control." I'm about to ask what he means, but I stop myself. I'll see. I know it's safe, though.

As we reach our floor, we file out, following Shelby, faced with a beautiful painting of the ocean and a window displaying how high up we are. I gaze at the cyan swimming pools that shine under the radiant sunlight and sparkle below, the people who look like ants, walking around, the parking lots, the centres, the stone pathways and the castles, and the entryway to the real amusement park. I see everything, and it is wonderful. Birds fly high up in the sky, and, cars drive along the roads outside of the Disney Compound area.

"Wow, this is gorgeous, Mashallah," I murmur, and Amir grabs my arm, as we speed walk after Shelby in the blasting air conditioning and the carpeted, long, hallways with off white wallpaper. It's utterly modern, that's for sure.

"The views from our room are even better," Amir warns me, and I grin. Something even better than that? Never knew there was such a thing.

"So, on each floor, there are three deluxe suites, our highest quality, and biggest ones with the most furniture, including a bedroom, a kitchen, two dining rooms and tables, a king sized bed, three TV screens, a deck, and more. It features a fridge, a freezer, and a walk in closet." Shelby educates us, and Amir nods impatiently. He knows how amazing our suite will be, because he booked it without me knowing!

She glances down at her large iPad to check. She taps a couple of things, and then examines Amir. "So, what did you say your name was, sir?"

"Amir Khan," Amir impatiently tells her, rocking on the back of his feet. She nods, looking back down at her iPad for the correct information.

"It says here you booked one of these deluxe suites. And, your number is 609. Alright. Follow me this way, please." Shelby's heels click in front of us, and we follow her down the hallways that are well lit and blasting with air conditioning. Finally, we reach out number near the end of the hallway. Our door is ginormous, with our number engraved onto it.

God, how expensive must have this been?!

As Shelby opens the room and our so called young butler stands there with our luggage, my question is answered.
