I look down at Asmy sleeping peacefully. I can't help the tilt at the corner of my lips as I hear a slight snore. The soft warm glow of my lamp swept over her face exposing her blushed cheeks.

I leaned over her slightly and pulled the blanket closer to her chin. Reacting to my movements, she snuggled closer.

I caressed her cheek one last time and got up from the bed. Closing the door gently behind me I let out a sigh.

As much as I wanted to ask her all these questions, I couldn't get myself to do it. Asmy is the type of woman who does not open up to people. She keeps all her skeletons close to her and flashes you that dazzling smile to redirect your attention. The fact that she alone went as far as to allow me to ask about her, shows that she accepts me and trusts me to an extent. And as much as I want to know more about my mother and who I truly am...

...I don't want to lose this fragile relationship we have built.

With a sigh, I head to the living room to clean up. With my head full of questions, I don't even attempt to sleep.

As I'm clearing my coffee table I pick up the bottle of Hell Hound. The red thick liquid sure was intoxicating. I've never drank something as strong. I turn the bottle to look at the manufacture but there is nothing. No ingredients or even the alcohol percentage, just the name of the drink.

I noticed how Asmy started to drink as if she wanted to forget. That's where I stopped drinking. If I would have kept up with her I would be passed out to.

Shaking my head, I take the bottle and take it to the sink. I unscrewed I and see as the thickness of the drink slid down through the drain. This drink is deadly and shouldn't be accessible to anyone. Something in me tells me that if anyone else drank this, they would end up in the hospital poisoned.

Once every last drop was poured out, I recycled the bottle and went back to the living room. Picking up the last memories of the interesting night, I can feel how my body was starting to ache. My eyes started to feel heavy and my head was spinning.

Now I felt exhausted.

I sat down on my recliner chair letting the weight of my head fall back. One last breath and my eyes closed dragging me to a deep slumber.

"Axel." The sweet voice of my mother called from inside the house.

I put down my Spiderman and turned to look at the big brown house. I can see my mother signaling me to come inside from the window.

"Coming mom!" I yelled back and got up shaking the dirt from my blue pants.

I bent down to grab my Spiderman and ran back home. My father's car was not in the driveway and I let out a sigh of relief knowing that I can just be with my mom.

Stepping through the door I saw my mom holding a Spiderman mask.

I ran happily to her and took the mask from her hands, dropping my figurine in the process. I heard her let out a laugh that made me feel even happier.
