We used to believe that the world is full of colors
Rainbows, unicorns, and cotton candies in the blue sky
We never knew that someday there will be disorders
Some realized early, some lived with lies
As a little kid, I was supposed to be protected
But even God couldn't do so
Every single kid started to feel disconnected
And I was swallowed whole by the shadows
I was a little kid when you told me you loved me
But you left me in confusion and great agony
I was a little kid when you let me see
How the world works behind this balcony
I was just a kid and I couldn't understand anything
All I did was cry but all you do was getting mad at me
You told me I was a disgrace and cut my wings
I never asked to be born and kept you from being free
I was a kid when I realized the world is a dark place
Warm, glowing lights are kept from shining bright
When I tried to reach that thing from the outer space
You will try to stop me and call me a parasite
