I was old, you were new
And I happened to meet you
Your eyes didn't meet mine
But you caught my eye so fine
Your eyes have always been fierce
Your hair was longer, past your ears
But when you cut your hair
It then made me stare
You once caught my eye and now my heart
I wish I knew from the start
Now I don't know what to do
With these feelings for you
That night is where it started
I thought you had already departed
But when I turned right
You were in my sight
When the lights turned green
Busy roads were already clean
I held your arm as we go
I felt the sparks as they bestow
We went to the same road
I felt my heartbeat again in my throat
You were there by my side
I tried these feelings come to hide
Ever since that night
I couldn't get you off my mind
I wrote this poem to make it obvious
Will this make you curious?
Every time you come in my direction
I always feel this kind of sensation
But I want to stop assuming things
But my heart always made me convinced
A big part of me is still scared
What if everything is too risky to be dared?
I don't trust myself enough
So let's just make this a happy crush
I hope I'm confident enough
About this kind of stuff
So I can get on my feet again
And tell you about this, my friend
