Numb

She looked at the mirror again...

and again

seeing the distorted image of herself.

The girl

who has an ugly smile,

ugly eyes...

ugly crying

in front of her reflection.

Every night,

she prays

that she will find peace

and live happily without those flaws

she always sees within her.

The depressive periods she encounters,

she couldn't handle it anymore.

She's tired of everything...

...everything.

She wanted attention.

She wanted to be love.

She wanted fame.

She wanted admiration from everyone.

She wished all of that.

She wished everyone

would at least discover her beauty.

Then she realized she's not.

She doesn't have those.

So sad.

So true.

So in reality.

And so painful.

She woke up

one day,

numb.

She couldn't feel anything.

She'd completely changed.

She doesn't care anymore.

She doesn't give shits anymore.

She won the battle

but she lost her self.

She became

a different person.
