Chapter 2 || 𝒩𝑒𝓌 𝐵𝑒𝓈𝓉𝒾𝑒

"Hm where do I even go?" I mumbled to myself while packing up my bag...

"Hey you! (L/N) right? I'm Tsukimori Hana but you can just call me Ha-chan!" The girl I'd been sat next to was now standing right in front of me, enthusiastically greeting me.
I couldn't help but stare, she was beautiful. She had long curly dark brown hair, velvet soft looking skin and sparkling brown orbs.
Realising I was staring I awkwardly got some words out.

"Um yeah, you can call me (N/N)-chan if you want." I smiled at her.
'She seems nice' I thought, hoping we could become friends.

She smiled back at me, "(N/N)-chan sounds good to me! Hey do you know where the cafeteria is? Wanna eat lunch with me?"
"Oh my gosh, please yes, I have no idea where I'm going." I replied quickly.
She laughed at this and we made our way to the cafeteria. We grabbed a tray each and went to get some food. I had stars in my eyes.

"The food of kings." I said as I placed food on my tray. Hana laughed at me clearly realising I'm not used to this. As we went to find a place to sit I spotted Satori. I was about to shout out to him until I noticed the monster of a man next to him.
"W-who is that, he looks like a giant." I said pointing a shaking hand at the tall guy. Hana hummed then looked where I was pointing.
"Him? Oh that's Ten-" She started but I cut her off.

"No not Sa-chan the guy next to him."

"Uh.... That's Ushijima Wakatoshi, he's the ace for the boys volleyball team...Sa-chan?"

"Oh Sa-Chan is my cousin, I just moved in with him and his parents because mine are on a business trip. That's why I'm here.." I explained.
"OH MY GOSH!!! That's so cool I can't believe you get to live with the guess monster....." she exlaimed, too loudly for my liking.
"shhhhhh" I hushed her, my finger pressed up to my lips.

She looked at me almost jealously but said nothing about it.

"Sorry..." She whisperd in response.
Hana's commotion hadn't braught too many people's attention thankfully just Sa-chan and the monster man.....

THE MONSTER MAN OH NO.

With horror I looked to see Sa-chan approaching with the monster of a man Ushijima.
I turned to Hana,
"Dude my cousin and the monster man are coming we gotta go."
Hana looked amused,"Why are you scared??"
I stared her down and she chuckled.
"I have the perfect place to hide, c'mon let's go!"

With that she grabbed my hand and we ran off me looking longingly back at my food, but I wasn't overly upset about it. Mainly because she was helping me escape the giant man. Eventually we were both sitting breathless on the roof huffing and puffing our hearts out.
"Thanks" I said. Thinking about it now we were at the roof top; I don't know why we ran they weren't chasing us.

"Hah... No problemo" she giggled through huffs.

For the rest of that lunch break me and Hana just chatted and I made a vow in my head that I was going to avoid that scary tall man if it's the last thing I did...

I was now at home, messaging Hana on Instagram with Udon attacking my feet under the blanket. Life was a lot better here than I had expected and I now already have a new bestie.

Shawty:

Me:
Naaaawww I'm glad I became friends with you too!!!!!💞💞

Shawty: sent a reel

I laughed at the reel she sent me of dogs twerking... Probably stolen from Tiktok. I was about to reply when a knock came to my door.
"Hello?? Come in." I asked/stated

Satori entered, sweaty from his volleyball practice.

"Hey cuz, how was your first day?" He asked.
"Yeah it was good! I made this friend her name is Ha-Cha- uh Tsukimori-San!" I proclaimed. Satori seemed flustered by the name. A slight pink dusted his cheeks. I looked at him confused and then gave him a look.

"Oooohhh Sa-Chan do you like Ha--" I began but he cut me off.

"Psh noo, no I don't! Anyway I saw you earlier and you disappeared I was gonna introduce you to someone, it was so weird where did you go?" He huffed.
'Ah the monster man' I thought to myself.
"Oh did you? Sorry I didn't see you. I was wondering around with Ha-Chan." I lied.
Satori frowned slightly but then smiled again.
"I'll just introduce you some other time!"

Great this is going to make avoiding that giant scary man even harder...
