"You like Carlos!" Jay yelled from the doorway of Evie's room mouth hanging open. Alex groans and falls back on the bed using her hands to cover her face, immediately regretting telling Evie about her crush. "I called it. I mean have you seen Carlos's face whenever Alex is around? He looks like an idiot." Jay smirked as he talked with Evie. His words made Alex uncover her face and sit up. Soaking in Jay's words, Alex loses herself in her thoughts.

"Carlos likes me too?" Alex said out loud making Jay's face fall into panic. "Uh uh... Crap I wasn't supposed to tell you that. He's going to kill me!" Jay panics making Evie and Alex flush. Now that Alex knew about Carlos's reciprocated feelings toward her, things would change between the pair. Jay continues to ramble off excuses and lies, but Alex's head is elsewhere and she doesn't comprehend his words.

"Alex? Where are you going?" Evie asks after Alex stands up and walks over to the door. "I'm going back to my room. I'll see you guys later." Alex says quietly before closing the door behind her. Part of her statement was true, she was going to go to her room, but only to tell Tina the news she was just given. During Alex's first night sharing a room with Tina, Tina managed to squeeze every last detail about her life out of her including her crush on Carlos. Carlex is Tina's number one ship with Bal as second.

Alex opens her dorm door making Tina look up from her textbooks on her bed. "Alex, are you alright?" Tina questions noticing the lost look in Alex's eyes. "Yeah I'm fine, but Jay just accidentally told me that Carlos likes me back." Alex nonchalantly said watching as Tina's grew big and started to sparkle. A silent cheer came from Tina before she ran and scooped Alex into a hug. Tina was strong for her shorter size.

"That's amazing! I knew you both would be so cute together! Your life is almost perfect now! All you have to do is talk to your father!" Tina cheered clapping her hands together like she was reading a cheesy romance novel. A nervous glint was in Alex's eyes at the mention of her father, remembering the text Evie had written and sent to him. Which he still hadn't responded to yet.

"About that... Evie might have taken my phone and sent a text to him earlier." Alex mumbles pushing herself out of Tina's arms before she either crushes her or emploded in excitement. A flabbergasted look takes over Tina's face and her jaw drops. "You... you mean to tell me that you sent a text to your dad for the first time since you were a baby and you didn't tell me! Show me!" Tina squeals reaching for Alex's phone. Alex hands her phone to Tina with the text pulled up allowing her to read it.

"Hey Dad, it's Alex. Thank you for the phone for starters, classes here at Auradon Prep have been going well and I've made plenty of friends. I met Mr. Hightopp last week... I hope to speak to you sometime if you want. Love you." The text read. Tina's face was blank as she read it before she spoke up.

"You know Family Day is in a few days. You should invite him to come!" Tina exclaimed. Without waiting for a response from Alex, Tina types out an invite and hits send making Alex gasp and pull her phone back "Tina!" Alex yells more in surprise than anger. "You'll thank you someday. Now go find your lover boy or whatever." Tina smiles before pushing Alex out of the door and closing the door behind. "What?" Alex stands outside of the door confused and stunned before feeling her phone buzz. "I'd love to!" A text from her father reads.
