I wake up one morning in my bedroom. Jayden was still asleep and Lauren was making breakfast. I smelled bacon and pancakes. I walked into the kitchen. "Good morning Lauren." I said. "Good morning Ariel. Is Jayden up yet?" Lauren said. "Not yet." I replied. "Well, can you go wake him up for me?" Lauren said. "Why don't you do that yourself?" I asked. "I'm busy making breakfast right now." Lauren said. "Okay, fine." I said before walking to Jayden's room to wake him up. I decided to pull a prank on him to wake him up because last time he pulled the same prank on me. I got a bucket and filled it with cold water. I walk into his room and dumped it on his head. "Whoa, really Ariel?" Jayden asked. "Payback's a bitch." I said. "You wanted to get even with me, huh?" Jayden asked. "Yeah, by the way Lauren is making breakfast." I said. "Okay, I'll be downstairs in a few minutes." Jayden said. "Okay." I said. Then I walked out. After we ate breakfast Lauren told me that mom and dad decided that I should live with Jason for a while. "What, why?" I asked. "They said something about you learning some moves to use for self defense if you need to." Lauren said. "I guess learning some moves is not the worst thing." I said under my breath. That afternoon Jayden was helping me pack my clothes. "You're going to have a great time with Jason." Jayden said. "I hope so." I said. "Don't worry about anything. I know that he won't be too hard on you." Jayden said. "I guess you're right." I said. The next day my parents dropped me off at Jason's house.
