The next day I was training with Jayden. This could be the final training session before I go take Decker down. The next day I went to the foster home with John, Virginia, and Lauren to see if Decker was going to be using something to split us up. John went into his old room at the house and found sanzu river water in a big glass ball that was in the closet. When he saw that he called us in. "Is that all?" I asked. "Sanzu river water. Enough to flood a whole city twice." Lauren said. "So that's how Decker plans to win the final battle, by separating us with a flood." Virginia said. "It's tied to the rack in the closet, the moment it strikes six it will be released." John said. "That's when I am meeting with Matthew." I said. "Well, you have to admit, he's got flair for the dramatic." Jayden said as he came in. "That's it, Decker is going down right now!" I said. "Ariel, I know that you feel responsible, but this is not just your fight." John said. "He seems to think it was." I said. "Yeah, well the last time I checked, he doesn't get a vote. Jayden and I will figure out a way to disable this thing. I was in hiding, the least I can do is be there for my little sister." Lauren said. "How about you go meet up with Matthew right now?" John asked. "Okay." I said. I go to talk to him but he was talking to his friend Jesse. "When is Ariel going to come?" Jesse said. "She said she would be here in a few minutes." Matthew said. "Okay, do you want to play a game until she comes?" Jesse said. "Sure." Matthew said. A few seconds later, "Hey Matthew, oh, Jesse, I didn't expect to see you here." I said. "Same here." Jesse said. "Can you give me and Matthew a minute?" I asked. "Sure." Jesse said before walking out. "Why are you here so early?" He asked. "Decker, he placed something around here, he's going to flood the city that is going to separate me from everyone so that I have to fight the final battle alone." I said "Not when we are going to talk to Alyssa. He won't, let's go." Matthew said. "Matthew, this is one I need to win on my own." I said. "Isn't that what he wants?" Matthew said. "If anyone comes with me it just gives him a chance to hurt one more person I love. I can't let him do that." I said. "Seems like you made up your mind, so why did you come here earlier than you said that you would?" Matthew said. "To warn you about what's going to happen at six o clock on the day we're supposed to talk to Alyssa." I said. "That not it. You came to tell me what you are going to do about this." Matthew said. "Matthew." I said before getting cut off. "Just be careful." Matthew said. "I will." I said. Then I wrote down what it was that I wanted to warn him about and gave the piece of paper to him. Somehow John's ex-girlfriend Emily Nicholson was watching us through a gap. (interdimensional portal. Entrance and exit between the netherworld and earth.)

I went back to the shiba house to watch the kids while Jayden, Lauren, Virginia, and John are talking to Matthew about how to stop the flood, or delay it until after we talk to Alyssa. In the past years ago, before I was born my mom and dad faced off with Dayu while she was still a human. "In here." Brittany said. "Where is she?" Stephen said. "Looking for me. Brittany, I haven't gotten the chance to congratulate you on that little bundle brewing inside." Dayu said. "That's far enough. You should make it easy on yourself and come with us now." Stephen said. "Oh, you mean like this?" Dayu said while a fireball showed up in her hand.

"There's a powerful magic." They both said. "Brittany, the song, it's gone." Stephen said. "I don't understand." Brittany said. "What's there to understand? I won." Dayu said. "You took our song from us." Stephen said. "Oh, not just yours, everyone's." Dayu said. "How?" Brittany said. "With a little something I happened to find in my vault. Green isn't my color but, it seems to have done the trick." Dayu said. "No." Stephen said before him and Brittany got disarmed. "I guess this proves that love is not the strongest magic of all. Enjoy what little time you have left, as a family." Dayu said before sending them back to their house. "Brittany, are you okay?" Stephen said. "What do you think?" Brittany said while they walked out onto the back deck of their house. "What happened, the witch should have known how powerful that song was." Brittany said. "Brittany, look." Stephen said. Then Tiffany showed up. "Tiffany, you granted the wish." Brittany said. "But it didn't work. Dayu took the song from us." Stephen said. "No one can do that. It's still inside you, it's still inside everyone, but I'm afraid it's magic was never meant for you to use against Dayu." Tiffany said. "Then who is it for?" Stephen said. Then Tiffany gave me everyone's song. "Ariel, you wished that she could have a chance for a happy ending. And now with everyone's song in her heart, she will." Tiffany said. "I don't understand, why? I mean, how does that help her?" Brittany said. "One day, she will face a battle like no one has ever faced before, and I'm afraid that she'll have to face it alone." Tiffany said. "She won't be alone. She'll have the voices of the people that love her inside of her heart." Brittany said. "In the morning we'll have forgotten we ever sang in the first place, not even Dayu will remember, that way the songs will remain safe." Tiffany said. "Then how will Ariel know that she has them inside her?" Stephen said. "We'll just have to hope that they find their way to the surface when she needs them the most." Tiffany said before disappearing. Back in the present time, some time later Decker freezes my friends and family, except for one person. I went to go face Decker. Before that I was standing in front of John. "John, I'm sorry, this is the only way." I said before kissing him. Then I walked towards Decker. "It's alright Ariel. At least one of us is getting our happy ending." Decker said. "Just get it over with." I said.
