I know that Jayden is going to leave but I don't know when. The next day Jayden was leaving. When the others asked him why he was leaving his reason was that they have to follow Lauren and that she can do what Jayden never could. No one could stop him.

Later that night we were talking. When Mike said that it's not the same without Jayden I told him that he has a good point. The next day Lauren was training by herself.

After Lauren asked who was next I walked up to her. "You want to see how good I am with the sword?" I asked. "Let's do it." Lauren said. Lauren always had to train alone. I was able to dodge some moves and got some hits on her. Then I almost got knocked down. After a few more moves I knocked Lauren down. "Wow, you're awesome." She said. "You're awesome too." I said. That was the first time in years that I actually trained with her. When I was four years old we used to train with each other all the time. The next day Antonio came back from looking for Jayden. He went after him because he technically wasn't a true ranger like the rest of them.

After Mentor Ji told us that Jayden was fighting Decker I started to think that maybe, just maybe, Jayden could get the revenge that John wanted on Decker. I go talk to John. "John, Jayden is fighting Decker." I said. "Wait a minute, your brother is fighting my dad?" John asked. "Yeah, at least, that's what Mentor Ji told us." I said. Later that night Mike, Mia, and Emily went out to find Jayden. I was with them. I thought that if Jayden is fighting Decker it could end badly for him. When we saw some fire I started to get a little concerned about Jayden. Eventhough the red rangers symbol is fire it's still dangerous to be around fires. When we got to where Jayden was there was a ring of fire around both Jayden and Decker.

After Decker faded away Jayden and I had a heart to heart talk. "Why did you come with them?" Jayden asked. "I didn't want to but they talked me into it." I said. "Oh, okay. So, how is Lauren doing with leading the team?" Jayden asked. "About that, I was going to catch up on some training with her tonight but then this came up. I guess that you are going to tell me to go back home, right?" I asked. "Yeah, besides, Lauren needs you." Jayden said. The next morning I go back home. The other rangers were with Jayden, except for Antonio. When I got home I noticed that we got a nighlok alert. I called Kevin. "Hello?" Kevin said as he picked up. "Kevin, there's a nighlok attack at the marina. Lauren, Antonio and I are on our way there. We could use all the help we can get." I said before hanging up. "Moggers, down by the marina. Lauren, Antonio, and Ariel are on their way. Jayden, please, join us. Your younger sister might need you." Kevin said. "Go on, I need a minute but I promise I'll meet you there." Jayden said. Meanwhile at the marina Lauren, Antonio, and I were having a hard battle with some overgrown moggers. "Ready for this?" Lauren said. "I was born ready." I said. A few minutes later the others showed up with Jayden. After taking down the moggers we went back to the shiba house. Jayden came back with us. When we got back home I continued to work on some projects that I started to work on when Jayden left the first time. Later that night I was going through dad's old room when Jayden walked in. "Hey." Jayden said. "Hey." I said. "I decided to come help you with this stuff. How are you doing?" Jayden asked. "Well our dad has been dead for a while, somewhat alone, but I'm just fine." I said. "If you don't want me here I can go." Jayden said. "No, stay. Seems like the only thing harder than cleaning up dad's things is doing it by myself." I said. "All of these things ment something to him. Wow, how many pens did he need?" Jayden asked. "Nothing being halfway done. I don't know what to keep or what to sell." I said. "More than office supplies, right?" Jayden asked. "I was just a kid that was way in over my head when he was around. I feel like you're the only one that understands me." I said. "All the time." Jayden said. "We both lost people we care about." I said. "Listen, when our great grandfather died Lauren did a lot of stupid things to make herself feel better." Jayden said. "Oh, so now I'm stupid, I take after dad." I said as I sat down on a chair in our dad's old room. "No, you're not stupid. You're grieving. You're trying to grab onto something." Jayden said. "Well I'm screwed because guess what, John is all I got." I said. "That's not true, when our great grandfather died Lauren and I thought that we didn't have anyone left. We felt like we were alone but you're not. You still have a sister, and a brother." Jayden said. "Who hate me. You and Lauren both hate me." I said. "No, we don't. If you're trying to figure out who you are now, then you're the best person she can be. You can't change things with the people you lost, so maybe, you can fix things with the family you still have." Jayden said. That's when I got a flashback of my dad telling me that we are one. (Flashback: I was walking around town with my dad one day. I got some time alone with him. I did something very stupid.
Stephen: Ariel, what did you think you were doing? You could have been killed today.
Young Ariel: But daddy, I, I didn't mean to diso
Stephen: I'm telling you this because I love you. I don't want to lose you.
Young Ariel: I know.
Stephen: If something happened to you I don't know what I'd do. One day I won't be here and I need you to carry on in my place. You're part of the great
Stephen and Ariel: Circle of life.
Young Ariel: I know.
Stephen: Exactly, and you need to be careful. As the future red ranger
Ariel cuts him off.
Young Ariel: What if I don't want to be a power ranger, it's no fun.
Stephen: That's like saying you don't want to be a human. It's in your blood, as I am. We are part of each other.

Stephen: As long as you live here, it's who you are. *hugs Ariel* You'll understand someday.
