The next day I was training with Lauren. I couldn't sleep last night because I felt like I was keeping a secret from Jayden and Lauren this whole time, mostly because I was. I knew that I had to tell them the truth. I have been keeping it a secret for so long. The next day I walked up to Jayden as he was training with Emily. "Jayden, can I talk to you for a minute, alone?" I asked. "Sure, what's up?" Jayden asked. "Let's go to my room to talk." I said. "Okay." Jayden said. We went to my room and I closed the door. I only had it open a little bit. "Okay, Jayden, there's something that I wanted to tell you. Remember when I went out for a walk with dad?" I asked. "Yeah, you were only like four years old." Jayden said. "Well, I did something really stupid. The truth is that dad wanted me to be the red ranger." I said. "Really?" Jayden asked. "Yeah." I said. "Why didn't dad tell me about this?" Jayden asked. "I don't know." I said. I could tell that he got mad because our dad didn't tell him about this. I can't believe that I kept it a secret for years. The next day Jayden was training with the others when he knocked them down. I was training with Lauren inside when that was going on. When I noticed the other rangers I asked them how the training with Jayden went. "He cut it short." Mia said. "Why?" I asked. "We don't know, he usually doesn't cut training short." Mike said. After I got done training with Lauren she told me that she already knew that dad wanted me to be the red ranger. "How did you know about that?" I asked. "Dad told me that." Lauren said. "Jayden didn't know about that and when I told him he got mad." I said. "He has to calm down." Lauren said. "I agree with you on that." I said. The next day I was trying to get Jayden to tell me what happened between him and the others yesterday but he didn't say anything about it. Then I go talk to Lauren and she got into an argument with me about who should be the red ranger. Jayden heard us arguing and thought that he made the mistake of making Lauren the red ranger. He tried to talk to me the next day but I didn't say anything to him. The next day I was walking around town with John and Lauren. Jayden had some training to catch up on with the others. "So Lauren, do you think that Jayden might switch his decision about which one of us can be the red ranger?" I asked. "Not likely." Lauren said. "Lauren, really?" John asked. "Hey, she's just guessing." I said. "He might change his decision." John said. "John..." I began when Lauren cut me off. "Ariel, John might be right about this." Lauren said. "Hey, who's side are you on anyway?" I asked. "I'm not taking anyone's side." Lauren said. "It kinda sounded like you were trying to figure out who's side to take." I said. The next day I decided to compete against Lauren in different situations that come with being a red ranger. Jayden came up with the scenarios. We also competed with speed, agility, and guts that go with being the red ranger. The next day I went to Lauren's room to see if she wanted to do some training. She really wasn't feeling up to it. I totally understood if she didn't feel up to it. The next day Lauren was sick. I was talking to Jayden about the upcoming training sessions that I am hoping to do with Lauren when the gap sensor goes off. "Oh great." I said. "Ariel, I can't believe I'm saying this but you have to lead the team." Jayden said. "I won't let you down. Let's go rangers!" I said. We ran into a big army of moggers. "Wow, there's about thousands if not millions of them." Mike said. "Guys, we can take them down but only together, as a team." I said. We started to fight the moggers when I turned into my wolf form. I know that we are not going to die.

The others didn't know that I had a wolf form, not even my siblings. The only ones that knew about my wolf form are my friends, especially Virginia because she has a dragon form. This is the first time I have shown my secret form to other people outside of the family. Later that night I was walking around town when I ran into a werewolf. That's when I got the flashback of the time when I got bitten by one. (Flashback: I was walking around town by myself and a wolf comes up to me. Before I could even question myself why a wolf would come up to me it lunged at me. I started running when I got cornered by the wolf on top of a cliff. "This is not good." I said to myself as I looked over the cliff. I turned to face the wolf as it walked slowly towards me. I decided that I should at least try to stand my ground, even if there's a risk for death. The wolf lunged at me again and this time I fought it. After a while it bit me on the leg. Eventhough it hurt I decided that I still have to jump over the cliff. I might get killed but on the other hand I'll be killed if I don't. I jumped over the cliff and landed in a shallow pond. The water only came up to my waist. I got out of the pond and the next day when I got mad about something I walked outside and turned into a wolf. End of flashback.) I didn't want to go against the werewolf after what happened last time. I had my jacket unzipped so I made myself look larger than I really am and backed away slowly while making eye contact with the wolf. You should never turn your back on a wolf or run away. You should also stay calm. When you don't see the wolf you can turn away from the direction you saw the wolf in. The next day I was training by myself when Jayden walked up to me. "Hey, I was just talking to Lauren about what you said to me a few weeks ago and we made the decision that you should be the red ranger. The only way that can happen is for me to leave." Jayden said.
