Narrative pov

Naruto was making Shadow clones, and he was just attacking random trees. When Kakashi and Yamato arrived, they saw how Naruto was trapped in a Genjutsu. They not only saw that, but a clone.

"Saki told me to just put him in a Genjutsu. Naruto can't get out of them, and just to be safe. Made me stay in case that the enemy found him." The clone explained to them.

"When is she coming back?" Yamato asked the clone.

"Classified information."

"..."

"She just needs to do some little things, and then she will go back..." The clone said to them.

"About Naruto..." Captain Yamato asked the clone.

"Oh. One of you needs to free him from the Genjutsu. Well, my job here is done."

And with that, the clone dissapeared. Captain Yamato used his wood jutsu to stop Naruto from moving, and then Kakashi freed Naruto from the Genjutsu.

"Eh?... Where's she? What?" Naruto said confused.

"You were trapped in a Genjutsu." Kakashi said to Naruto.

"You put yourself, and the team in danger." Captain Yamato said to Naruto.

"But the kid-" Naruto tried to excuse himself.

"Nothing. Is this how you pay the Hokage for trusting you to come I this mission?" Captain Yamato interrupted him.

"I am sorry..." Naruto said quietly.

Captain Yamato sighed.

"Naruto. Something is being bothering me." Kakashi said to Naruto.

"Mhm?" Naruto asked confused.

"Tell me more in detail about what happened in the lake." Kakashi said.

After Naruto telling them a more detailed information about what happened in the lake while they ran.

"Orochimaru wouldn't keep a normal kid. There's gotta be something that he needs from that kid." Kakashi said more to himself.

"Well, I am not sure about that. Saki took the kid away from them, and then hide him. I do not know where, thought..." Naruto said while running.

"Saki?" They asked confused.

"Yeah. That was also one of the reasons why I wanted to find them." Naruto answered.

"Well, we-" Kakashi was interrupted by someone.

"NARUTO!" Sakura yelled from above.

Sakura was above, and then punchen Naruto.

"Sakura..." Was all that Naruto could said before passing out.

"Don't worry, Kakashi-sensei! I will keep Naruto in line!" Sakura said, and Captain Yamato Kakashi could only nod.

They carried Naruto back, and waited for him to wake up. When Naruto woke up, they started let the guys, and the three others went to a room to talk.

"So, short story, there's a crystal user that is dangerous. The three-tails appeared, and we need to seal it. Right?" Shizune confirmed.

"That's right." Yamato said to her.

"There's one thing that bothers me..." Kakashi said to them. "Naruto said that he saw a kid with Saki in the lake. Saki then, proceeded to hide the kid. But... Why?..."

They thought about it for some time, until Kakashi finally solved the problem.

"Okay, this is what we are going to do." Kakashi then told them the plan.
