Chapter 4

"So honey nowww, take me into your loving arms." Me and Sarah were at the bathroom singing in harmony because be both love to sing. The boys said they would wait at the concrete pavement, which apparently is our new 'spot' to hang at recess at lunch.

So once we were done me and Sarah walked out and came face to face with this girl, I think she was the one who gave me that death glare in period one. She didn't seem to nice.

"Great.." Sarah mumbled quietly.

"Hey Sarah" the girl said in a kind of not nice way.

"And who might this be mhm? She said referring to me.
"I'm lara." I replied confidently.

"Well LARA," she spitter my name as if it was rotten sheep guts. "Im Brit, and I see that you're new here, and you should know that I'm the queen of this school and you are to never, ever mess with me, ok? Brit said. I just stood there saying nothing.

" oh and this Chris guy...guess what? I'm dating him. So back off him ok? He's mine." She added.

What? Chris is dating HER?! Sarah already told him she was no good. Why would he do this. Am I jealous? Ugh no I'm not Lara, get a hold on yourself! Ok I can't do this, maybe I do I have feelings for Chris, infact, maybe I have huge feelings for him! *mentally sigh* he would never like a girl like me. Though I really hope I jinx myself on this.

"Um I don't care." I replied too quickly.

"Bye girls!" Brit said strutting away like she owned the place.

"What? I already told Chris she was no good." Said Sarah once Brit was out of sight.

"I know..it doesn't make sense..." I replied sadly.

"Lara...."
"Yeahh? " I said back.

"Spill!" Sarah said.

"What?! Spill what?" I said innocently.

"I know you like him." She said.

"Like who? Chris? Nawww I don't!" I replied.
"It's so obvious" she said chuckling.

Eek! Wrong time! Just as she said that, Jai, Austin...and Chris, came up to us.

"What's so obvious?" Austin asked.

"Ermm...nothing" I quickly replied.
Sarah was just trying to hold her laugh in.

"Umm ok...." Austin said laughing a little.

"Where were you guys we've been waiting for ages!" Jai asked us.

"Oh sorry we just had an encounter.....with miss doll face over there" Sarah said nodding towards Brit by the lockers.

"Haha how'd it go?" Chris said.

I kinda felt a bit heartbroken when he started talking...but what am I kidding? He's not even mine! And he never will...i guess he's more interested in Brit kinda girls. Oh well!

"Yeah it was alright, nothing to big" I said in return.
"Hah ok"

We made our way back to our 'spot' and sat down. We had around 10 mins left of recess.
"Ooh! Ooh! Let's play truth or dare! Sarah said.

We all agreed...kinda but we played anyway!

"Lara! Truth or dare?"'Sarah asked me.

"Hmm..." She then smiled devilishly. Oh great. I'm so gonna regret this!
"Kiss Chris."

"What?! Sarahhhh!" I said. She just laughed and told me I had to do it! Argh sometimes Sarah can be really annoying.

I looked at Chris. He just smirked. We leaned in...then our lips touched. BOOM!
It was the best feeling in my life! Fire works were exploding inside of me! We kept kissing for idk how long but not that long. He was actually a really good kisser.

We pulled away even though I really didn't want to.

We both smiled then Jai said, "that was a bit long aye?"

Oh crap why did he have to say that? Damn it I couldn't resist blushing and turning away, I guess chris did the same thing. Eek this was soo embarrassing!

RRRRIIIINNNNNNGGGGG! Yes! The bell went for period 3! Saved by the bell, so cliché😂

Chris POV

Wowwww...that kiss was amazing! I'm still feeling tingly inside. Lara was really pretty. I would ask her out anytime but I'm afraid she would say no. And plus, we've only just met. I need to get closer to her first.

Hey! I should ask for her number! Good one Chris.

"Lara wait up!" I called to Lara walking up to history.

"Oh um..hey Chris.." She said.

Oh. She didn't really seem happy to see me. Did I do something wrong?

"What are you doing here?" She asked me.

"What do you mean I'm going to class" I said back to her laughing.
She didn't laugh along with me. Strange...she would normally.

"Well shouldn't you be with Britt ditching school for the rest of the day and going to her place to make out or something?" She said a bit....angry?

"WHAT?! Why would I do that?!" I said.
What the hell? What's she talking about?

"That's what your GIRLFRIEND said." Lara spitted.

Huh? I have a girlfriend? "And who would that be?" I asked.

"Brit."

"WHAT I AM NOT DATING THAT DIP-SHT ARE YOU CRAZY? WHAT MADE YOU THINK THAT?" I yelled. Oh no..I think I yelled a bit to loud.

"Oh no don't give me that, she told me everything! How you thought she was so sexy and so you asked her out and she obviously said yes, then you two were gonna ditch the rest of school to go make out and stuff in at her place!!!" She shouted back, but not as loud as I did. I kinda feel ashamed of screaming at her like that before.

"You really believe all that?! Do you really think I would do that. And plus, why would YOU EVEN CARE?! ITS NOT LIKE YOU HAVE FEELINGS FOR ME!" I said getting louder at her.

Oh no. What have I done?

I could see her starting to tear up and with that, she ran away.
I just stood there in awe. Why did I have to do that. Why did I have to scream at her?! Man, maybe I'm the dip sht in this situation. Oh and I didn't end up getting her number which sucks.

Well this day is gonna be dragging on for what seems like years!
